Did you mean to reply to Papa?  His post mentioned racism.

It was a black man’s Tweet.  He thinks white liberals like you believe blacks and other minorities have a more difficult time figuring out how to get an ID than you do.  It’s the racism of lowered expectations, and people like you don’t even realize how insulting it is to minorities to basically say they are too inept to get an ID.

Do you guys have a hotline for Uncle Toms or something?

Orange:  ‘get back on the plantation!’

Also, you’ve obviously never actually read Uncle Tom’s cabin, and have just used your racist term in ignorance.

Difficult or not, govt-approved IDs are disproportionately unavailable to people of color.  That's a fact, not an opinion, and not a comment on the IQ or abilities of black or brown people to get ID, dumbass.

That has nothing to do with the availability of getting an ID, assuming this thesis from one state is even correct.  The statistical significance of the conclusion is a fucking joke, by the way.  Now throw out another racist term and call it a day.

It also states that 99.4% of voters had an ID, and those that don’t we’re able to vote.  They then used “surnames” to guess on the race of the voter.

Thanks for providing my my point.  Even without ID, the 0.4% of voters in that Michigan election were able to vote.

It's not even the point.  In-person voter fraud is completely nonexistent.  The only reason the GOP pushes for Voter ID is to suppress democratic votes (in Texas they allow gun registration cards to be used, but not college ID cards).  Virtually the ONLY form of voter fraud in existence is with absentee ballots, which are disproportionately Republican voters, and the GOP has never once introduced any bill to address that.  Voter ID is a solution in search of a problem, and that problem is democrats voting.

The most serious act of voter suppression in the last decade was the Democrats nominating Hillary Clinton.

Fair enough, but it was the voters' own stupidity and ignorance -- not logistical headaches -- that kept them from the polls in that regard.
