Bison Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 http://247sports.com/Article/College-coaches-who-can-stave-off-the-hot-seat-or-take-advantage-48878550 Some Pac-12 coaches might be on the move after this season. Brian Howell, the BuffZone beat writer for football did bring up Mike MacIntyre and Baylor given that MacIntyre's daughter is student there plus MacIntyre is a devout Baptist. Would MacIntyre be willing to work at Baylor when the NCAA hasn't dished out punishment for what has gone on with football?
All Hail Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I was really hoping that Baylor would want Dykes and Cal could free itself from it's own terrible decision making.
trickydlck Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Should we start a thread for the anti carousel? https://mobile.twitter.com/A_Jude/status/796860127366123520?p=v
ExplorerSunDevil Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Prediction: Phillip Montgomery to Baylor
ExplorerSunDevil Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Also, a couple of years ago, I predicted that Todd Graham would only leave ASU for the NFL, but I might be wrong about that, Graham played his college ball in Oklahoma and coached a total of 11 seasons of High School/College football in the state of Oklahoma. It wouldn't shock me at all if Graham was lining up a potential jump to OU if the Sooners ever fired Stoops or if Oklahoma State ever fired Gundy(neither of which I see happening).
SEA_hick Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Chris Petersen, Huskies negotiating a long-term contract extension, likely for 10 years. Lock that shit down! http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/uw-husky-football/chris-petersen-huskies-negotiating-a-potential-10-year-contract-extension/?utm_content=buffer315b0&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=owned_buffer_sports
Nakedmolerat Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Give him a de facto lifetime contract. Call Bob DeCarolis... he can help with those. They work great!!
Scscsc89 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 What exactly has Graham accomplished at ASU to make him attractive to another P5 school, let alone a program like Oklahoma?
RogueDuck Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 What exactly has Graham accomplished at ASU to make him attractive to another P5 school, let alone a program like Oklahoma? His headset.
ExplorerSunDevil Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 What exactly has Graham accomplished at ASU to make him attractive to another P5 school, let alone a program like Oklahoma? Two 10 win seasons in 5 years is enough to be considered a worthy candidate to most ADs nowadays.
Pac12Fan Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I was wondering when this post would go up. Colorado coach saved his job this year for at least another year. Graham is showing how mediocre his program has become. Rich Rod is a good coach but has not recruited well especially on defense. May be gone UCLA coach should be gone but don't believe the admin will pull the trigger. I've said enough about Moran. Mark Helfrich was meant to be an Assistant Coach. Gary Anderson is a good coach with crap players and in a conference that won't afford him to be successful. Someone has to be the shit program, it looks like OSU is fitting that description nicely. Whittingham will be on the coaching radar again. Please hire Whittingham since Urban Meyer probably won't be coming here. I predict new coaches at Oregon, Stanford, ASU and Arizona this year. Shaw will be leaving for a bigger program like Notre Dame, Texas, South Carolina.
KUGRDON Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Colorado coach saved his job for probably a decade. Have to see how the extension works out.
All Hail Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Two 10 win seasons in 5 years is enough to be considered a worthy candidate to most ADs nowadays. Is that why Jeff Tedfords best offer in the past several years was from Fresno state? College football, like most things, is ever changing and therefore strongly relies on the what have you done for me lately tenet.
PapaG Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 What exactly has Graham accomplished at ASU to make him attractive to another P5 school, let alone a program like Oklahoma? Wristbands
MussMan Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Whittingham will be on the coaching radar again. Please hire Whittingham since Urban Meyer probably won't be coming here. Whittingham is already making more than Mora is. UCLA isn't willing to pay a coach enough money to get KW to leave Utah.

RogueDuck Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Helfrich won 11, 13 and 9 games. No one will be beating down his door wanting him as their HC anytime soon.
Mano Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Colorado coach saved his job for probably a decade. Have to see how the extension works out. So Colorado has one winning season and coach is safe for a decade, but people here are calling for the heads of Mora, Graham, Rich Rod and Helfrich? Haven't all those guys won at least a Pac division title in the past 4 years?
