Guest Bone Crusher Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Dude, it seems like EA Sports really took the game to a new level of AWESOME! You will see the Donald Duck riding on that UO motorcycle, the Trojan putting the sword into the grass field at the Coliseum, and Ralphie leading the Buffs onto the field. At the 0:57 mark, you will see the Pac-12 logo.
Guest Bone Crusher Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 STOP THE PRESSES!!!! CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS ARE BACK!!!!!! http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/content.php?419-NCAA-Football-12-Custom-Playbooks I think I saw this for Madden as well so this is clearly shaping up to be the best year of videogame football games ever and I have played those football games since I was 8 and playing John Elway's football game on the NES. I'm planning on getting Madden 12 in that case if true.
Guest Bone Crusher Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I view OperationSports a lot since it's a website dedicated to sports gaming and I'm going to be dedicated to sports gaming for good. I want to also 100% confirm that custom playbooks will be in this year's edition. http://www.operationsports.com/previews/111/ncaa-football-12-preview/ Custom Playbooks Custom playbooks are in the game this year, and the interface to tweak your selected plays is really intuitive. Beyond just picking plays, you can even switch the three plays you see on each page of your playbook. So that means while you are in a game, you can flip through your playbook and know what three plays are on each page of that playbook. I'm trying to confirm that Custom Playbooks will be in Madden 12 and will let everyone know for sure as soon as I get that confirmation.
Guest JustisM Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I can't wait for this game. I keep reading more and more into it and it finally seems like they made a huge step to being the best football game (if they already aren't) on the market. The fact that you can expand conferences and such to 16 and decide what conferences go to BCS games and stuff makes it awesome too. I will for sure do a Pac 16 Dynasty. Anyone know if there will be FCS teams?

Anyone know if there will be FCS teams? I don't think there will be FCS teams but that can be overcome with the Team Builder feature. The good news is that it looks like Madden will have customizable playbooks as well so I plan on picking up both games this year which hasn't happened for me in nearly 20 years of playing football videogames. This year's batch of football games will be the best ever and probably will remain that way just like NCAA FB 06 being the template for 07, 08, 09, 10, and 11 for the PS2/X-Box systems.
Guest Bone Crusher Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Demo for the 360 and PS3 will drop TODAY...can't wait to get home and download that demo on my PS3!
Guest nakedmolerat Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Yeah, they got oregon stacked... but what's the deal with the long ass dreads on LMJ? I noticed that on the demo last night. Reminiscent of ******n Jackson. When I control DT in the game, he makes the right read on the zone option too, unlike in the NCG. RAT

RAT I think it's because they wanted to show off the dreads for the demo He has a close buzz in real life so I don't know why else they would do that You mean NCG passing record holder DT? That one
Guest nakedmolerat Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 You mean NCG passing record holder DT? The very same. His passing yards have nothing to do with the zone option read.
Guest JustisM Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 The very same. His passing yards have nothing to do with the zone option read. Guess you have a point haha
Guest Bone Crusher Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 The reason for LMJ having dreads is due to lawsuits that former NCAA athletes have filed against EA Sports for displaying their likeness. If you watched the Utah-CU youtube flick, CU's #17 doesn't have dreads. As for the demo, the game played very well. I am skipping NCAA FB 11 so please bear with me if I'm behind the curve here....I really like how with the presnap, you can see where the blockers will go to block and with that in place, I was able to use LMJ or that UO #7 to break off some long runs. And beating Texas every time I play 'em never felt so good.
