Ben Carson has made his transformation from a violent boy to soft-spoken, responsible adult a cornerstone of his campaign, but a CNNinvestigation found no evidence to back up Carson’s claims of being a problem child.

I think this guy has officially replaced Trump as the worst candidate.

agreed about benghazi, congress should really look into forming a committee about that.

this will only win carson points. nothing he's said has ever been accurately transcribed by the media, and he'll spin this into a hit piece the evil liberal media devised to distract from THE ISSUES.

I'm no fan of Carson, but a bit of premature ejaculation here. Moreover, lying about getting shot at on an airport tarmac and lying about what happened at Benghazi seem to be a little more significant.

Man you're really hung up on the tarmac thing, aren't you?

And lol @ mentioning Benghazi.  Eventually that dead horse will be a skeleton, and it will make more noise when you beat it.

Every one who goes gets all expenses covered. How are those not full scholarships? Part

Of this is semantics. When I was nominated to the Naval Academy, I sure considered it a full scholarship. No comment on whether or not anything was offered officially or unofficially.

He didn't even apply to West Point, much less get accepted.  No one can corroborate any claims about his temperament in his youth.  He thinks the earth is 6,000 years old and that there should be no rules restraining American soldiers in war.

Any of these issues signify a problem to you?

He never claimed he was accepted nor did he claim he applied. Dude got a full ride to Yale. He said today he received an informal offer with a statement like "with grades and accomplishments like yours I'm sure there's a place for you at West Point. ". It's not like he said he came under enemy fire.

It's not like he said he came under enemy fire.

But he was a "violent youth" who tried to stab a guy, or threw a knife at a friend, or at a close relative he calls "Bob," all the while wearing horn-rimmed glasses, a pocket protector, and a calculator on his belt.

Yes, this is what his campaign said after they called him on his lie.

Also, documentation verifies that Westmoreland was in DC, and nowhere near Carson's location at the point in time Carson specified in his book.  In 2 separate books, and as recently as October, Carson insisted he was "offered a scholarship" (which doesn't exist at West Point).

He's a pathological liar.  It really is that simple.

If those were lies still not as bad as lying about coming under enemy fire on an airport Tarmac.

Seriously?  Someone can far more easily be mistaken or confused about the presence or lack of presence of gunfire in a fleeting situation than Carson could be about whether or not he applied, and was accepted, to West Point.  An application takes time to fill out.  Bullets (or the sound of bullets) take milliseconds.

Intellectual Donesty in its purest form right ere!

You can't even get the facts straight. He never said he applied or was accepted. There were never any gunshots on the tarmac. You, and Hillary for that matter, go beyond intellectual dishonesty into just making shit up.

Bwahahahah

I know your positions on almost every issue are repugnant, but I never took you for a complete fucking idiot.

“I was offered a full scholarship to West Point, got to meet General Westmoreland and go to the Congressional Medal of Honor dinners,†Carson said. “But decided really my pathway would be medicine.â€

His claim was that he was "offered a full scholarship."  You took from that that he was "never accepted" and "never applied"?  REALLY?

There are no scholarships to West Point.  He lied.  It's really that simple.   And this is only one in a long string of lies in his books; lies he repeated over and over to increase his popularity.

Semantics, everyone at the military academies gets a full ride. Scholarships.

I am very familiar with the process of being admitted to the military academies in the 1970s. There were two routes. One which I took involved Receiving a nomination then applying and being admitted to the Academy. I received a nomination from both my senator and my congressperson. After receiving the nomination, I applied for admission and was denied.

The other route was called a direct appointment. In the case of a direct appointment, and offer would generally be made by an officer in the related branch of the service. If one received a direct appointment, he would then apply for admission as a formality. It was this later route that Carson was describing. I have no idea, and nobody in the press or public has any idea, of whether Carson received an offer of a direct appointment.

As usual, don't let the facts interfere with your ejaculations.
