I’m not sure what real good the basic theme of this thread is pointing towards?

Sure, it seems hyper-hypocritical when someone from the family values, religion, and MAGA crowds are found to be, well, very bad humans involved in sexual abuse and/or child pornography.  It’s always a bad look.  But, we all know examples of left-wingers guilty of the same.  That one mayor and reputed Buttigieg protege a year or so back comes to mind. Does not pointing out left-wing perps imply that we might expect them to behave that way?  I sure hope not, but there are (quite sadly) some who still view homosexuality as a bridge to ephebophilia and pedophilia.  Most abusers aren’t clergy (or teachers).  They make up a small % of the whole perpetrators, and why would any category of people be 100% free of the evils humans do?

Btw, that last guy in the prior post is real piece of work.  He won’t be the last evil example.
