It does such a good job of painting the picture of how horrific WW1 was. It's all real footage as told by people who lived it. My grandfather used to watch a lot of the old WW2 movies like Tota Tora Tora , Cross of Iron, Bridge on the River Kwai 2 Quote

He was also a big fan of Patton when it came out. He would swear up and down though that Patton didn't save them (He was in the 101st at the end of the bulge) 1 Quote
