Oh look!  We are at the cusp of a shutdown once again!

GOP-led Congress races to avert government shutdown ahead of Friday deadline

In their infinite wisdom, the GOP is going to try ram through a bill to give free reign to Musk to continue to chainsaw the federal government workforce without any oversight!  The only catch?  They need 7 cowardly Democrats in order to break a filibuster!

FUCK THAT.  Force them to either destroy the unconstitutional filibuster OR give them an option for a week long continuing resolution to keep the government open OR they can decide to shut down the government.  

What the hell else is Congress doing where they can't vote every week on whether to keep the government open?  In the mean time Musk can come in and testify and the congress can go agency by agency combing through the budget and passing the budget for each agency.  

Any Democrats who vote for this Republican bill are cowards.  Who cares if they blame you for a shutdown...they are going to blame you anyway...swing voters are morons anyway who only remember what happens 2 days before any election.  What the hell do you have to lose, Democrats?

Let’s assume they pass the House they then need 7-8 Dem Senators to override a filibuster or Republicans will have to kill the filibuster themselves.

I'm this case Dems are the minority on both sides, have had no input and it would be lunacy to support any of these bills which are a 180 from what their constituency wants. Put on your big boy britches Schumer and don't overthink this.

From what I'm reading it looks like Dem leadership is working to get enough democrats to vote for cloture then have all of them vote against the bill.
