Akkula Posted February 4 Posted February 4 You know the funny thing about trying to close down government agencies and forcing eveyone to quit? The next Democratic president will be able to replenish the agencies with a bunch of Democrats. This is what happens when you can't pass any legislation! Everything is just wiped away so easily! 1 Quote
masterfrog Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I was told that we would be done with elections. 1 1 Quote

Mark my words. They are going to squander the majority just like last time. Then they will blame the Democrats for failing to pass anything. Quote

Well, remember they also repealed and replaced Obamacare in their legislative victory column. "Concepts of a plan" was really a winning healthcare formula that was under development for more than a decade. Quote
azgreg Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Frankly I don't know what Dem legislators can do. Musk and his incel fuckwits have the blessing of Trump, his secretaries, leaders Johnson and Thune, and apparently the DOJ (at least the US Attorney for DC Ed Martin). In my view the only people with any authority are the state AG's. 1 Quote

He generates so much hype but what he delivers is always such a disappointment. Quote
mysfit Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I'm sure the GOP and heritage are working on ways to ensure Dems can't flip seats. Restrictive voting practices, reducing the number of polling places, eliminating vote by mail, voter ID requirements. 1 Quote
