halfmanhalfbronco Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 This brings up a strange dichotomy to me regarding poverty. I was raised in poverty. That poverty taught me a lot of life skills and I never FELT poor (at least until I got older and realized we were). Others born in poverty have non functioning parents and a lack of roll models. They don't learn valuable skills. They don't learn to cook, to sew, to garden, to hunt, to fish. Even my poverty provided me privilege tens of millions of Americans do not have. Making me think this afternoon. 1 Quote

Back in HS in the 80s, we had to take not one, but two Homemaking classes complete with full blown kitchens before graduating where they taught nutrition, how to cook and sew and knit and all that shit. That's way too homo to fly in today's society. 1 Quote

It's my go to move (when they don't ask for a dick pick). Talk to a woman, send her photos of your meals you make every night, then when you invite her to your house to eat it is not weird or presumptuous. And once she helps you cook an amazing meal in the kitchen, and eats in on your coach....sex follows. Almost always. 1 Quote

After preparing a nice meal for the wife, the exciting action is a scoop of ice cream. 🥸 1 2 Quote

She already knows your value as a cook and how amazing your meals look. So then you invite her to cook with you. You let her feel involved in the process, while guiding so it turns out amazing. It shows your dominance and humility all at once. She can add some extra garlic powder or whatever and feel she contributed to your meal. Then when you are eating it together you focus on how it is the best ever. "Yes I have always made great gumbo but this is honestly better, your Idea to add this or that made the dish" It's basically guaranteed sex. Quote

Sadly, too many of Americas poor do not know how to take care of themselves. That's why the eat fast food. Not because it is cheaper. Because they don't know anything. A lot of people don’t like to cook because they work demanding jobs and don’t feel like taking the time to cook after long days at work and would prefer to eat out because it’s convenient. 1 Quote

You - We have literally wanted to kill each other and then worked it out BSU TOP 25 - We have had a few moments I think we are good now Retro - We have had several dustups, most of them my fault. I think we are good now Joe From Wyoming and all the other iterations - I am hoping we are cool when he gets back from timbuktu HappyCamper - There have been tons of angry exchanges with that guy. I respect him though, and I think we are good. Alpine - I have had several angry exchanges with him. We are fine. I just texted him last night. AA has had a plethora of opportunities not to be a total shitbag, and he fucks it up every time. 2 1 Quote
