The National Transportation Safety Board announced today it will only update the media about crash investigations on X. No email or other social media communication will be used according to current information.

I am surprised that Truth Social is also not included.

But Elon's influence on the Federal government grows along with the extra traffic to his company.

This needs to be investigated.  The government shouldn't limit information to one platform and email should be the main communication method as that guarantees access for pretty much everyone.  

There is a clear conflict of interest in this decision with Musk's role.

Since when does Trump or any of “his people” give a rat’s ass about conflicts of interest? It’s all about exercising power as you see fit (with Trump’s blessing) with no real regard for rules or precedent. And if it benefits you/Trump, all the better.

They say the move is because they do not have time to answer every email inquiry from the media. So are they going to respond to every Twitter inquiry?

Then there is no answer when asked why only use Twitter when NTSB also has social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
