The love for anything trump or his people do is truly fascinating.

They have a profoundly unhealthy parasocial relationship with him.

We have a duly elected, FUNCTIONING executive asserting his constitutionally mandated control over the executive branch. Only a complete moron would call this a coup.

A COUP is when a pile of corrupt lying unelected  conspirators wrest control of the government from a NON FUNCTIONING executive with a skull full of mashed potatoes while LYING to the American public about his condition.

Sit this one out.

Better yet, admit you're a dumbass and apologize.

based on my reading of the constitution, the head of doge needs senatorial confirmation

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),[note 1] officially the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, is a temporary organization under the United States DOGE Service, formerly known as the United States Digital Service.[1][2] Despite the name, DOGE is not a federal executive department, the creation of which would require the approval of the U.S. Congress.[3]

The constitution does not specifically call out "executive departments".

Doge certainly does not appear to be an "inferior" organization

All Departments under the President are 'executive departments'.  And this one isnt one.....cuz 'DOGE' isnt its official name.  And it doesnt say anything about inferior organizations, but inferior officers.

There is case law on this. Buckley Vs Valleo states that an "officer of the US" is someone who wields "significant authority".

Given that Doge apparently has more authority than any department, then yes. Elon absolutely should have had to have senate confirmation.

You don't seem to be arguing very effectively here man. Much less than what I'm used to. Are you doing ok?

You're the biggest orange bawl gargler there is.

You drool and spunk have turned orange.

The interesting issue is that in another thread he claims he doesn't attack people or start crap yet in a post I made which has nothing to do with him he posts a meme with the implication that I am a drunk because I don't agree with some other poster's statement.

This comment will of course go over his head and he will likely give me an idiot emoji because I responded to you.

I do my best to ignore it which seems to work well for me. (I do agree with him on one thing, he's not alone with his approach.  There are others here who think s$%t talking is cute.)

Democrats doing absolutely nothing.  Literally sitting back and allowing the constitution to be hijacked.

Not nothing. A few of them have been seen talking at a lecturn from time to time.

The Dems can't really do much. Warren has demanded information about the security of the Treasury info. About the only thing they can do is try and derail confirmations and gum up the funding and debt ceiling.

They have no leverage.

Yep. It's clear Johnson and Thune approve. They're the only two in congress that would be able to do anything about it.

Yeah lets do 2008-2010 and look back on what Rs did while in the minority in both senate and house.

When there is a will, there is a way.  The D's have zero fckn will.
