right...but it is what it is

we're paying for it either way

the question is should we subsidize the drug if it saves us money in the long run?

So, responsible people have to pay for people that choose to be irresponsible and lazy because it is what it is. Got it. 👍

you already acknowledged that we are paying for whether we like it or not

it sucks but do you have a better solution?

It shouldn't cost money if people weren't lazy. Most people have chosen to be obese and society and I are paying for it. That's BS.

There are a lot of things that shouldn’t be a particular way, but they are that way and outrage won’t change it.

This conversation makes me want to put the weight back on just so it’ll cost AA money…

It's funny, I knew you were obese. I called it correctly a while back because you're a self-admitted 20-year veteran of trolling message boards 15 hours a day, every day. You can't stay away even when you claim you're on vacation. You were trolling me on the tarmac at the airport. I guarantee the most moving around you have done in those 20 years was heading to the refrigerator. You're pathetic, and trolling and bullying people on message boards is your life because of your insecurities. It all makes sense.

The majority of people who become obese in this country is due to laziness and lifestyle choices and drugs shouldn't be necessary. For many, it's a choice. If you want to argue that drugs that are being used for weight loss have other benefits and should be affordable, then I would agree with you.

Hmm.  I would disagree.   One in the biggest problems is that Americans have jobs where they sit in front of computers 12 hours a day and have convenience foods.  Most households require 2 incomes to stay afloat.  Americans work more and have less free time than almost anyone in the world.   I have a hard time chalking it up to just laziness.

But since Trump is getting rid of immigrants maybe we can send them out to the fields to pick grapes.  That would certainly help Americans shed some pounds!

Eh well one big problem is that it's expensive AF to eat healthy.  Not only expensive, but not even remotely economically feasible for many to afford.

This is why obesity mostly affects lower income peoples.

In the name of white people DEI, the USA heavily subsidized agricultural products like high fructose corn syrup to red state farmers.  If we want to "cut the fat" in the federal government, we would stop this immediately.  The Europeans who are supposedly much lazier in that they work less are also far slimmer.  Plus Mexicsn farmers should not have to compete against unfair affirmative action programs.

Did you mean trolls like RSF who sit in front of a computer all day being the reason why he's obese?

What world is that? The reality is, most of the world eats a healthier diet and has far lower obesity rates than the U.S. The reality is, it is cheaper to make healthy meals at home than to eat fast food. The reality is, many Americans are lazy and choose to be that way. And the reality is you're nothing but a turd muscle that squeezes shit out of your mouth.

Go ahead and come back with another one of your made-up yarn stories.

Pretty simple really. Calories in, calories out.

For most Americans, Type 2 diabetes is preventable, treatable, and reversible with proper diet and exercise. The pharmaceutical industry prefers people not knowing that and would rather them continue being obese.

Look at a map of elevation vs obesity.  The correlation is absurd. It's clearly not just calories in vs out, because calories out and what you get from calories in can vary dramatically.

IMO being downstream of large scale agricultural runoff is extremely unhealthy.  The obesity that appears to be caused by it is a symptom.
