Yeah no shit. It’s why I struggle to care too much. A pro Palestinian friend thought Trump would be better for them. Stupidity has consequences 3 Quote

Genocide means death the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group. "a campaign of genocide" Quote

Stupidity has consequences What blew me away was the amount of people who's side he clearly wasn't on such as the Venezuelans now being deported from Florida, the pro Palestine crowd thinking he actually gave a fuck about them and them falling for it. Remember when he wanted to ban all Muslims? Or he said Haitians were eating pets? What made them think he changed? He lied to you... now deal with it. You voted for him so own it. 5 Quote

I grew up with people who's grandparents had numbers tattooed on their arms so I learned at a young age what a fucking horror that was. There is no both sides of that. I really feel for the innocent lives lost on both sides. There are no good solutions but what Trump is proposing is hydrogen bomb levels of chaos Quote

"a campaign of genocide" I could have worded the reply better. Not every genocide is instant or immediate extermination via military actions. The Trail of Tears, Armenian displacement, forced relocation of Carthage are all examples of genocide where the civilian toll was low by military standards. As HMHB is stating. It's still genocide, regardless of the civilian toll. 3 Quote
FresnoFacts Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Besides saying we will take over and redevelop Gaza, Trump when asked about sending US troops to the region "we'll do what is necessary, if it's necessary we'll do that." Somehow that sounds to me like the possibility of another decades long commitment that may end badly. 2 Quote

Translation, Bibi helped me win so I will give him whatever he wants Who cares if it creates more terrorists or completely destabilizes the entire region again? BTW I saw a vid of some female reporter who asked him about the Taliban and he avoided the question by saying her accent is lovely but he doesn't know what she said... ladies and gentlemen the POTUS ! 1 Quote

He is my son’s best friend and his dad who was a big Trumper died and his vote was a mismatch of logic and emotion as it was for many Palestinian supporters. people understandably acted emotionally. Unfortunately it cost them dearly. Quote

son of a gun Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Many thought the Age of Imperialism died with WWII. Yet here we have a would-be Imperialist pushing to conquer territories from not only small groups like Gaza, but Greenland as well. It could be argued the military bases we have all over the globe constitute as Imperialism. But Trump is literally going full Imperialist here. Quote

I live very close to multiple military bases in Japan and let's just say the mood right now is when is Trump going to threaten us by cozying up to Kim again ? Who BTW has been awfully quiet. Israel had every single right to go after the fucks who committed those vile and disgusting acts on Oct 7 but self defense does not equate to what Israel is doing. What are we up to 30K dead Palestinians ? Biden should have cut everything off the moment it became clear what was going on. Quote
