azgreg Posted March 10 Posted March 10 This has to do with the Mahmoud Khalil incident the other day. A green card holder they are going to deport. Quote

However, Reichlin-Melnick noted that an aspect of the Immigration and Nationality Act could allow for a non-citizen to be deported if the Secretary of State deems them deportable on national security grounds. What We Know About the ICE Arrest of Mahmoud Khalil Also, seriously, this is the guy democrats like AOC want to fight Trump about regarding deportations? The law may technically be on their side but the politics sure as hell aren't. Quote

"I don't like them" is the only thing the matters. Even though he broke no laws, he needs to be disappeared. This country is full of idiots. Quote
FresnoFacts Posted March 13 Posted March 13 On NewsMax, Judge Napolitano talked about Khalil being a poor case to pursue. Meanwhile, the charging documents against Khalil, which were just made public this week, don't specify a crime, but say that in the opinion of Secretary of State Marco Rubio that he is "a danger to American foreign policy," Napolitano said. "That's not enough to keep him in jail," he continued. "They have to allege that he committed a crime or engaged in some behavior palpably harmful to the federal government, and they haven't done so." https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/andrew-napolitano-mahmoud-khalil-columbia-protest/2025/03/13/id/1202622/ Quote

Akkula Posted March 17 Posted March 17 The judge barred Trump from deporting people without proper due process. He had time to turn around then planes but did not and chose to criminally defy the courts. Trump KNEW this was a criminal act and so he tried to hide the order from the courts until he carried out his criminal plot. This is what happens when you elect a fucking criminal to be president and give him immunity! He is not faithfully executing the law! He has no respect for the law. So it begins...the blatant defying of court orders. 1 Quote
