Hey, I am just trying to get the facts, ma'am. You seemed happy about a woman getting shot for speaking out against men playing women's sports. Once again, 3 dolla, do own a pellet gun?

I thought nothing could be done to stop the illegal immigration wave except Congressional legislation?  But, it reduced significantly when Biden reinstated Stay in Mexico, and now they're under 400 a day.

Look, I'm all for immigration reform and increasing levels of legal immigration.  But you can't encourage waves of migrants to come, release them into the country, in many cases without court dates, and then yell "what are you going to do?  deport all of them?" as if that's some crazy insane idea.  That's the definition of gaslighting.

The left does not have the moral high ground on this issue, and isn't on the right side of history. 

I honestly don't know who the open borders crowd thinks is their constituency.  It's certainly not hispanics in border counties.  It's not working class people, it's not their gardener who now has to compete with undocumented laborers, or construction workers who have to do the same.  It's not farmers or construction companies because I'm not hearing about some massive new labor shortage in ag.  If all those migrants were really coming to work in the fields, and ag needed it to survive, that would have been felt immediately once the spigot was turned off.  But construction and ag haven't collapsed.

Open borders crowd isn't doing any favors for educators either.

Biden's border policy was indefensible.  Do we need to encourage immigration, enact immigration reform, and reform guest worker policies, you bet.  What is frustrating to most people is that the open borders crowd acts as if the only alternative to getting those three things done is to do what Biden did.  How the hell did that become Democrat policy?  It wasn't under Clinton or Obama, or democrat governors up until recently.

I see what you are trying to do here.  You want to change the debate to the use of the term "open border people" instead of debate the merits of the border policy of the previous administration.

You can substitute "advocates of the Biden Administration border policy" for open border advocates if you prefer.

My point was, the argument that only legislative action could have prevented the massive influx of migrants is demonstrably false.  And that the policy pursued under the previous administration was indefensible.

I have debated the merits of the border policy of the previous administration ad nauseum slo. Using objectively bullshit terms like the "open border people" kills discussion in its cradle. It would be like calling a pro life person "pro rape" or a gun rights advocate "pro child murder".

It's pretty defensible lmao. Cutting off any asylum is illegal. So, yes, when the government elects to act in an unlawful manner, any manner of things are possible.
