InnZoneU Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Legend. The Brewers have a great owner with Attanasio. They'll do him right. Quote

SWspartan Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Bob Uecker was one of my all time favorite baseball play by play announcers and he was a pretty good comedic actor too. May he rest in peace. Quote
MissionTrails Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Bummer, dude was hilarious. Just the fact that he successfully stuck to the same schtick for decades (lousy baseball player) takes some kinda skill. RIP Uke. Quote

WYO1016 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Probably my favorite sportscaster of all time. What an incredible legacy he left. Quote
B_Lootz Posted January 17 Posted January 17 As a Brewers fan, this one hurts even though you knew the day was coming sooner rather than later. His signoff after the crushing loss to the Mets in the WC makes sense now, seemed more like a goodbye and he knew that was most likely it for him. Even at advanced age, he was sharp as a tack, had a great memory and sense of humor, could tell stories in a way that only he could, and still could call it. RIP Ueck Great blog post by Posnanski: https://joeblogs.joeposnanski.com/p/farewell-mr-baseball 2 Quote
