Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I'm glad to see this Rivalry back on track.. Go Aztecs !
PTR Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Uncharacteristic turnovers by SUDS. Probably the result of young players in this environment. They seem to be settling in a bit after weathering an early Lobo run.
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The Lobos are winning all the hustle plays, 50/50 balls, making the extra pass for open threes. The Aztecs are sloppy with the ball this far.
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Wow The Lobos are making the Aztecs look like Fresno right now.
Soupslam Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The Lobos have the athletes and size to match the Aztecs, plus they have a PG in Dent that isn’t affected by the Aztec defense and controls the pace of the game.
PTR Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Byrd trying to do too much. This is about as dialed in defensively as UNM has been all year. Kade will be a really good player. Hopefully he doesn't get poached. 1
PTR Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Bill Rafferty just said a player "left his lingerie on the deck" after getting juked. Man is a national treasure 🤣🤣🤣
PTR Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 30-20 Lobos at the half. I can't remember seeing Dutcher that heated to end a half. Filip Borovicanin has low key been UNM's 2nd best player lately.
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Lobos winning the offensive glass 11-1. Turnovers 3 to 9. They are making the Aztecs look like a bottom half team right now. Dutch needs to get Gwath out of the game. His inexperience shows. He struggles with handling the ball and UNM is constantly swiping at it. He is a poor ball handler.
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 On 1/11/2025 at 11:59 AM, Soupslam said: Crappy first half by the Aztecs. UNM has a lot to do with that. We held them to two points over the last 3 1/2 mins, but we only got three.
The Brent Vigen Diet Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Great atmosphere in the Pit! Will be interesting to see how both teams respond in the second half! 1
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The Lobos are having a fine scrimmage against a D2 squad.
Spaztecs Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Unless lightning strikes, I fear the Lobos are to much from overcome today.
