God I love this community, it’s making me anxious just thinking about what he’s going through. I wish we could all be there to give him a giant hug.

Hey Mike, if you get to read this just know that even though I got into it with you on a lot of topics I strongly disagreed with you on, I always did honestly like you. I really appreciated you saying what you believed without sugarcoating it. I’ll miss you on here man.

Mike,

The end of this life comes for us all, but it’s far too soon for you. I’m sincerely sorry to learn your condition is terminal, and worse, that you’re suffering physically. While I appreciate the apology, none was or is necessary. We each gave and took a lot of shit from the other. This place is diminished by your absence, but you left your mark. We all will remember you.

Ride that unicorn to a better place!

P-dick…er, doc.

This news sucks to hear. I’ve enjoyed reading your posts over the years, Mike. You’ve made these boards much more entertaining (mission accomplished on your shtick). Wishing you the best and Godspeed.

My breathing got better, so I'm still here, for now. Despite my exagerated personality on here for fun, the real Mike Braithwaite always respected you. You're a smart, good man, Pdoc. Stuck In Seattle (Pat) was really the only person that I was friends with and visited up in Seattle over the years. I wish the best for you and your family into the future.

Mike, we rarely agreed on most things, but I am truly sorry you are terminal. Your dedication to animal welfare, particularly cats, is admirable.

I'll be honest, I'm not good at these kinds of things, even when they happen to someone I've known in real life. It won't be the same without you posting here. Everyone has a niche that we never knew we had until someone is gone. And you being in pain, wanting to just be over and done with it, even though you know you have family and friends that want you stay, I get it. With my mom and her MS, and the one guy that was an actual father figure to me with his kidneys. Both in their final months were in awful pain. With how hard it was to see them become like that, I can't even imagine the pain they felt. And in turn, the kind of pain you must be going through.

I honestly, and dearly, pray and wish for the best for you and your family and friends going forward. We will miss you.

Best wishes to you Convert (Mike). No hard feelings at all. The back and forth with you was all in fun, nothing more. TBH it seems like since you slowed down on posting the place is a bit darker and more serious on some of the bantering between some of the group. Safe travels.

Mike, my first son took his own life at 27 because he could no longer tolerate the emotional pain that resulted in his being in psychiatric hospitals seven times. I can therefore understand people who suffer from great physical pain contemplating leaving this world in the same manner. Although I no longer have faith in organized religion, I believe we all have a soul which transforms through the experiences we have from life to life so I have no doubt that the soul of my son is living some kind of better life and I believe the same will shortly be true for you. Many thanks for what you have contributed to my life during the course of our debates and maybe in some way we will meet on the other side. I would like that.

My name is Mike Braithwaite, and very sadly I'm terminal. I just wanted to let everyone know that most of my act for many years was just that, and it's intention was good fun. But I also wanted to apologize if I went over the line with some of you, including Pack Nation and Pdoc. You're both good men, I can tell...even though we sparred so much. God bless you both.

In real life I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet, and getting baby formula and things like that are much more life my real persona. I wish all of you to have a great life and may the Good Lord bless all of you. I'm in tremendous pain, and looking to go to Oregon to get it over right away. I wish more states were like this. I just can't take the pain.

To my fellow Pack fans, keep the Pack alive with your never ending support. Go Pack!

To everyone else, thanks for all the great times, and hope you teams all kick ass every year. I wish you all health and happiness into the future.

Sean, you're a great New Mexico fan and one of the best men I've ever known. I love you, brother!

With Sincerety & Love,

Nevada Convert (Mike Braithwaite)

Mike, I'm really sorry to hear that you’re terminally ill. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can say or do to change your situation. I will pray for you to get through this as pain-free as possible. Instead of sending a sad emoji, I chose a cheers emoji because I wanted to focus on the positive. We are truly blessed to be on this earth for however long we have.

Your friend,
Supersix

Hey Mike...sorry to hear.  You made an impact on here for sure.  Things won't be the same on here without you in the mix.  😑
