B_Lootz Posted Wednesday at 04:07 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:07 AM Yeah, about what I expected so far 2
B_Lootz Posted Wednesday at 04:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:18 AM Giving up three offensive rebounds on a single possession. What an absolute farce. Boise is simply toying with us. Out-physicaled, out-hustled, out-played. 1

My gut is telling me that UNLV not only covers the spread, but they get the W. Long athletic teams and quick guards, give us problems. UNLV has both. Your gut should be telling you that BSU usually loses to well coached teams, and UNLV is hoping for their players to overcome their situation. 1 1

Buttermaker Posted Wednesday at 04:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:48 AM I thought this game would be much closer than it is.

BSUTOP25 Posted Wednesday at 05:01 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:01 AM Pearson Carmichael looks pretty good. I hope Duryea doesn’t ruin him.
Hashbrowns Posted Wednesday at 05:38 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:38 AM Boise shot 71% inside the arc (22/31). Peanut Carmichael debuts as a Bronco scoring 8 in 18 minutes (RJ Keene out with nose injury). Degenhart 21 pts (8/11) and 11 boards.

Maybe just an off night... How many times did Cardenas have the ball in his hand and the defender was 6' off of him. Dude had all day to make a decision. UNLV simply doesn't have any idea of how to play defense. Call me a FORMER KK defender. His nickel is up. 1
Qwelish Posted Wednesday at 06:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:18 AM The string of going down by 20+ vs even half way decent teams is pretty consistent at this point. 1
Qwelish Posted Wednesday at 06:20 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:20 AM If UNLV can hire Mike Brown I'd be very happy. NBA champion and amazing teacher of the game. Ronald McDonald passed on Brown after he showed interest twice, because she's a clown. 1
4rowsup Posted Wednesday at 06:31 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:31 AM Just got back from the game. I am surprised. BSU played well for about 32 minutes. Hustled their tails off on both ends of the court. Not so much the last 8 minutes. Still good bounce back win.
UNLV2001 Posted Wednesday at 06:45 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:45 AM UNLV looked like they hadn't played in months - turnovers, air balls, missed FT's, turnovers galore Utterly pathetic showing all around 2
UNLV2001 Posted Wednesday at 06:46 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:46 AM UNLV is now 9-0 against teams outside the top 150 in the KenPom ratings, beating up on opponents with an average ranking of No. 235. Conversely, the Scarlet and Gray have played six teams inside the top 60 and have lost every game, going 0-6 against teams with an average ranking of No. 41. 1

Basically a dead man walking. He needs a magical finish or he's done. AD EH hired his football guy in days. I hope he's as decisive and successful hiring for basketball. I don't see why not. He's probably making calls already and may have a short list. Two guys I'd have on my radar are Mike Brown and Billy Donovan. I'd also consider Chris Holtmann, John Thompson III, Mark Jackson, Monty Williams, Mike D'Antoni and Adrian Griffin. 1
Soupslam Posted Wednesday at 08:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:06 AM Boise State was loaded for bear after the lackluster effort against the Aztecs. The three vets came to play tonight. Rebels looked a lot worse than last year and played like it. Kruger is nothing like the old man. Biggest surprise was Boise State burning true freshman Carmichael’s redshirt halfway through the season. Likely because of poor three point shooting to this point. 1
