As for January 2017, I remember what happened. And while the actions then are indefensible, I also remember that it was not led or encouraged by President Obama, it was a fraction of the scale of Jan. 6, no one stormed the Capitol in an effort to disrupt the transfer of power, and no one died. Doesn’t make those involved that day innocent. It just means the scope of the two events are not equivalent. 1 1 1
