I saw this on Reddit while having coffee this morning. Saying you go to Reddit for something other than the comments is like saying you buy Playboy for something other than the porn. 1

retrofade Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Turk was used to rent the Cybertruck in question, like the F-150 Lightning used in the New Orleans attack. No, I’m not saying they’re connected. Just additional information.

We plan on buying an EV this year, but I'm glad we waited this long as there are so many new players in the increasingly competitive EV market. We're (finally 🙄) getting solar installed over the next 1-2 months and have included an EV charger for the garage in the scope of work. But I think a rough draft of a 6-year old's drawing of a concept Tonka truck is a hard pass under the best of circumstances. 1 1

My cousin's kid worked for the shop in SD that held the contract for Tesla warranty repairs and said their quality was all over the fucking map. I prefer a manufacturer with an ethos in which a premium focus is placed on QC to ensure shit dumpsters never leave the factory floor in the first place.

Florida is currently trying to fuck people with Solar by not allowing our energy company to buy back at retail. Peoples electricity bills are going up.
renoskier Posted January 1 Posted January 1 so maybe it wasn't the truck but the load of fireworks it was carrying? https://www.npr.org/2025/01/01/nx-s1-5245215/tesla-truck-explosion-trump-las-vegas-hotel According to a law enforcement official, the truck was rented via the Turo app and appeared to have a load of fireworks. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

Bought. 154% production (guaranteed) of our annual draw. Hyperion panels (25 year product and service warranty), 2x Tesla Powerwalls, and with a new roof. We'll be living frugally for this next year, but 100% worth it. 1

Also fast. Tesla has the edge on software, but that’s it. Lucid puts out software updates constantly so they’re closing in. 1
