FresnoFacts Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 The PAC has filed for multiple additional trademarks. The filings indicate the possibility of continued growth with either no current target size or maybe planned growth over multiple seasons. Among the filings was to reclaim the "Pac-10" trademark. The conference had let that drop in 2012 after Utah and Colorado joined. I guess they never considered the possibility that someone would leave the old PAC and the conference would be smaller again. The applications filed were for “Pac-9,” “Pac-10,” “Pac-11,” “Pac-13,” “Pac-14,” “Pacific Athletic Conference” and “The PAC Conference”. https://www.sportico.com/leagues/college-sports/2024/pac-12-trademark-applications-pac-8-pac-14-1234821537/ 2
retrofade Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 I've been saying the number branding should be dropped so they can just be the PAC. 4
CoachKenFTW Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 "The Mountain West's ATM" would be the most accurate slogan. 4

EZRebel Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 The Packard or the What-in-the-hell-were-we-thinking League has a nice ring to it. 1
Bison Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 They do take their math seriously you know...

Dudleydgroot Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 How bout the "Stab You in the Back, PAC" 1
UNLV2001 Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 WSU's very public woes and mass defections in coaching & players certainly won't help the PAC's TV $$

Boise is also going to be the new king of the Pac just like they are in the MWC.

There’s a bit of a difference being propped up by the likes of USC, Washington, and Oregon vs. Boise State, Fresno State, and SDSU. 2
