KingSpartan Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Hey look, the supposed superior programs can't pay their bills. 3 1 3 1 Quote
CoachKenFTW Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 $200,000,000+ for what, 14 games? That comes out to at least $14,285,714/game! Stepped up, stepped on! Quote
Rebels2k3 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 It'll be interesting to see if this is successful or not. If it is, I can see more schools leaving the MWC 2 Quote
sean327 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Choo Choo St just doing what Choo Choo St does. If it's underhanded, you can bet your ass that the dirt bags in Logan are behind it. I am surprised Colorado St is getting into bed with those idiots though. 8 1 2 1 1 1 2 Quote
Aztecsu Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 The MW might actually have a problem. My bet is the MW doesn't collect a penny more than it can withhold from the departing schools. 2 3 Quote

This will all get settled but the departing schools will end up paying. 11 1 Quote
Beaver-Poke Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 There's going to be a settlement sometime in early 2025 so both leagues can get on with life. Business is business. They are too important to each other for scheduling in all sports to not bury the hatchet. 2 Quote

So that’s likely where this ends up. The PAC is going to pay based on their agreement and these schools will pay based on their membership agreements. 2 Quote
KingSpartan Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 The PAC needs to scrounge up another $60 million to entice Tulane and Memphis or this whole scheme to leave the MW was just a giant waste of money. Which everyone else could see. 2 Quote
idkk Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 I was told that the Utags had raised the $17M and that the rest of the schools that stayed were just broke. 🤨 Quote

I agree, we will settle and pay something, but not the full amount. 2 2 Quote

Why are the Pac going to kick in anything for Tulane/Memphis when exit fees are invalid, just have them sue and not pay anything. It's the NewPAC way. 3 Quote
sean327 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Just pay up and leave. I guarantee if it was Choo Choo staying behind, they would be demanding payment. Those slimy bastards have zero integrity. 9 1 1 Quote

The fact that you destroyed half your stadium and couldn’t rebuild it is what told you that you were broke. 2 Quote
