Sac State in the nPAC = Air Force in the MWC

Sac State basketball would be a millstone around the neck of the nPAC in basketball.  They may be worse that Air Force...  Looking at their record and performance has helped me realize that Davis was the far superior option for the MWC.

It was always going to be a big step up for either school in basketball but with the portal, it could just take a couple of seasons instead of four or five years.

Is it possible that Sac State's $50M in NIL and a move to D-1 could maybe result in an improved BB roster? Although I concede that UC-Davis's Equestrian program had to turn some heads among the MW decision makers.

Sac State is the off-brand version of SJSU. If the nPAC wanted NorCal, they would’ve just invited the Spartans.

I love the comment about Sac St joining a Power 5 conference in the PAC. I wonder were they got that from?

So you know I was talking about their CURRENT gym, right?  You gots any pics of that?

Could was the word to focus on here (and also the PAC being a P5 conference lol).  Until it comes down to game day costs.  Gonna cost Sac St. a ton of money to rent that out for revenue from 2k fans.

Yes I know what gym you were referring to. Speaking of HS facilities, link below to UC Davis's FB stadium. Although as I look at the pictures, it would not take all that much (relatively speaking) to double or triple the stadium capacity. Fill in the bowls, put in an upper deck. Hmm. They are out of the FCS playoff now, is a FB announcement in the offing?

Yes I think the stadium was why Davis wasn't extended a FB offer.  They need to get that shithole up to speed for a proper D1 game.  Guessing the MWC invite was a kick in the ass to get serious.  With their endowment, I think they'll get it done.  For the record, I like Sac St. also and not crapping on them, it is what it is with these programs.

Well if Stanford could (and did) tear down their entire large stadium and build a 50,000 seat replacement in the same footprint in one offseason seems like Davis could easily do a major expansion in the same time frame. The physical layout is ripe and ready for sure. 

Which makes me ask - what is their exit fee from the MW right now, pre-FB? Maybe the Pac-7 can swoop in?

I don't believe for a minute that Sac State has a $50M NIL. In fact, I can't recall anybody except some nitwit in the state legislature running his mouth about that.

They don't have 50 mil NIL.  Those are "pledges" on the condition they go to the PAC.  Easy to pledge when you know tounwill never be asked to pay up.
