Oh he'll tolerate Trump's freelancing now and then like his preposterous Greenland, Panama canal land grabs and the Denali name change. So we have a novice hatchetman and an imbecile running our government. This is what the clueless Americans voted for. 1

And a reminder of what the other 50% expect - and there are posts on this very board predicting all of these (as idiotic as many sound) - not sure how many posts you can find of people making the claims in your post (many of which are equally idiotic): Concentration camps Firing Squads WWIII National abortion ban Gay Marriage repeal Tens of millions deported Major cuts to Social Security and Medicare Trump declaration as dictator Steps taken to hand off control of US to Baron after DJT is done More tax cuts for billionaires 1

I don’t think huge numbers but there will be 100’s of thousands possibly. Convicted criminals etc… I have no problems with that. However I believe it is funny that people who voted him in believed all his rhetoric on this subject. Abortion bans and gay rights infringements…these wouldn’t surprise me. Again probably nothing much happens but……… he told people all sorts of shit on both topics and his nuthuggers lapped it up. The most likely is there will be tax cuts for the rich. This won’t surprise me in the least. so…not much will happen in the long run but people who voted the idiot in are convinced he will put money in their pockets, kick all the brown people out and make sure the Christian Taliban are running the country. Just awesome! 🤮 1

Just awesome! 🤮 A friend of mine has been nominated for a cabinet position. He's gay. If confirmed, and if Trump doesn't 86 him first, it's unlikely Trump does anything to impact gay rights.

He’s a loud mouth and will talk shit though further inflaming his base with ignorant rhetoric.

I would love to hear all these things the TDS Brigade has heard him say about wanting to go after gay rights. He spent a great deal of his 2016 speech at the Republican National Convention supporting gay rights, etc. It’s not on his agenda at all from what I can tell.
CoachKenFTW Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 If 2025-2027 is similar to 2017-19, I expect democrats/the deep state to create Hell on Earth in 2028. I also expect the President won't preemptively pardon his son for a decades worth of crimes. 1

It's pretty impossible to continue to defend dragging the war on when the majority of Ukrainians and vast, overwhelming majority of their armed forces want the war to end by brokering a deal that includes giving up territory. I bet the war is over shortly after Trump takes office. That's all well and good except having accomplished that, Putin and his oligarchs will then want to invade Moldova or one of the Baltic countries. 1

It’s pretty clear that Russia is not capable of successfully invading a NATO country. Moldova? I suppose they could try, but it’d be pretty tough for them to build up their presence in Transnistria beyond what it currently is. Plus is an official annexation of Transnistria even worth it? 1
GregoryPierreTolkien Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Trump didn’t promise all that stuff directly. It’s more like what people hope will happen with Republicans in charge. Things like cheaper gas, lower taxes, and stronger energy policies are more realistic goals.

I hope he does but I’m not holding my breath Look at what he’s done before. Energy independence, tax cuts, and pulling us out of bad deals. He’s not perfect, but he’s proven he can actually get things done. Do I think everything on that list will happen? Probably not. But I’d rather have someone in charge who’s gonna fight for stuff like cheaper gas and lower taxes instead of just making excuses. We’ll see, but I’ve got more faith in Trump than anyone else. 2
