I know, but the PAC ain't P4 either which is the ultimate goal.  If the PAC gets to that level we can go there whenever.  I guess the one bad thing is if the PAC meddles in mid-major territory, and UNLV football falls on it's face the next 5 years.  I don't see that happening, but weirder things have happened.  In any case, UNLV is great shape right now.  

 

MWC is doing what they have to do for when the real shuffle happens in 5 years.  UNLV and AF will be somewhere else once that happens.  I guess the PAC might want to try to pull another school to get to at least a true conference level.  Not many names out there left to pull from that will drive you into the P4 status.

Great hire for the Rebels. I'm very curious to see what the contract entails. Mullen signed an extension in 2021 and was to make 7.6 million a year at Florida. Previously before that extension, he made 6.1 million. 🤔

LVCVA has been working with the casinos and other influential leaders in town to find a way to get casino money into NIL collectives.  Casinos can't just hand over money for that.   It is a process, but it is one that is happening and has been for the past year or so.  It's a big reason Mullen agreed to come to UNLV.

Not sure if that's the correct way to go about it. But it's the way college football is heading, so why not take advantage.

Well BYU is using church money to pay some basketball players 7 million a year.  I welcome any way UNLV can get casino money into NIL.

Dude, we're both on the same sinking ship.  You are just a few steps higher.  The MWC and nPac are both going to become the equivalent of the Sun Belt and the MAC.

This is interesting. If the Casinos can start giving UNLV money that could change things significantly.
