From NDTV, India's largest cable news source:

People see the word 'radioactive' and lose their shit (Kinda like the letters 'U-F-O').  And ignore 'medical device'.  Which is why the story is getting little play.

On December 2, a medical gadget that contained Germanium-68 (Ge-68) and was used to calibrate cancer scans vanished while being transported from the Nazha Cancer Center in Newfield. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) said that the package, which was headed for disposal, arrived empty and damaged.

The "pin source," which was the missing gadget, had 0.267 millicuries (mCi) of Ge-68. Despite the tiny number, the event was categorized by the NRC as "less than a Category 3." If handled improperly or exposed over an extended period of time, such substance might result in lasting harm.

Agreed. I will add a rather significant caveat that the Ge-68 could be used to contsruct a dirty bomb, which while not necessarily effective as a radiological weapon (due to its short half-life), would be immensely effective as a psychological weapon.

Furthermore, once could argue if the radiation spike was large enough to be detected, then there is enough radioactive material to cause harm. And considering these two events are being discussed as related to one another within defense circles, I think it merits our attention.

Lastly, the timeline of escalated UAPs sightings correlates with this rather neatly - these are two rather anomalous events that stand out against the background noise. So IMHO I am not inclined to write these two events off as coincidence.

So, a few actual insights.

A former co-worker of mine who has his own drone company had this to say.

Current co-workers with connections with people who would be in the know have been "told" (take that as you will) that this is swarm testing similar to what LLNL has been approved for during the daytime on their own property, but military. It goes beyond that, but that's the basic premise. There are also multiple types and sizes of drones being used here, a lot of the smaller varieties but larger UAV types as well.

There are plenty of weapons testing ranges not over densely populated areas. Seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation; it also seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation to provide.

In fact, I cannot think of a singular example of the government testing weapons platforms over residential neighborhoods in New Jersey. Can you?

Furthermore, there are multiple video captures of objects that are anomalous in appearance and nature when compared to the video footage of what have been reported to be military or civilian-operated drones.

If you play the video backwards, you can hear a voice say 'This is what happens when you absolutely, positively have to have it there overnight'....

IMO its the US military and they are running a drill to search for something like a dirty bomb, or biological weapons. They want to know how the public will respond.

I think it's most likely the US military too. They wouldn't allow an adversary to keep doing this for this long. No idea what they're doing though, from what I've heard they probably wouldn't need drones to detect a dirty bomb but who knows.

It's Jersey...half the state is toxic...

This is true... I grew up there. Look up Ciba Geigy and Toms River cancer and you'll get exactly what you are looking for

The only thing worse is Staten Island, it is so awful NY wanted to make it part of NJ and NJ was like nah we're good

My grandparents lived in Brooklyn and we had to drive through Staten Island to get there and they had this garbage dump; Fresh Kills I think it was called. You could smell the stench for at least 5 miles after you drove by it and there had to be tens of thousands of seagulls that would fly around it.

What's going with the drones now?

Are they still up there and people are just bored with the story now or are they gone now?

Maybe they moved on to another planet or something.

Trump suggested the Biden admin was hiding something. Guess he wasn’t, or Trump has decided to suppress the same info.

There is ,roughly, 1 Metric Fuckton of startup drone companies out there these days chasing DoD dollars. I've noticed in the reports I've seen that nobody has bothered to ask the FAA about them.  DoD will not know or care for that matter what's in the sky that doesn't involve military assets.  The FAA does care and most likely knows as you have to get permission from them to operate anywhere near civil aviation corridors.
