Never said the most all time.   Since Boise has been included as an option.  It’s actually pretty impressive.  Made some noise there for sure.

So you're saying that prior to 2006, Boise State wasn't an option for the Fiesta Bowl? Weren't they technically eligible for that game beginning in 1996?

That's kinda like me saying that since Oregon won its first Rose Bowl in 95 years, they've won more than any other school. It's true, but it's pretty arbitrary

Think 98 bcs started.  Could be wrong.  Since then was what I was saying.  It opened up the big bowls for the mid majors.  Could be wrong but pretty sure they have it.

Malachi Nelson in portal for BSU. Will hurt BSU offense UMO because Maddog  won’t be looking to run much.

Boise’s backup QB now is a r-FR walkon from Nampa.

Won’t change anything, Madsen will run as much as he wants to.

Why worry when he just needs to hand the ball to Jeanty?  But yeah having a good backup QB ready to go is ideal.  Reminds me of CU winning the Orange Bowl against Nate Dame (and the 1990 NC) with the backup QB.

That r-FR walkon has probably barely had any reps in practice this year.  This is his chance to get his reps and get more immersed in the offense.  He might be decent.  Now's the time to find out.

Absolutely but Charles Johnson (back up to Darian Hagan) did play some mop up duty earlier in that season and the previous season so he was ready.

And speaking of reps, he’d (BSU r-Fr QB) probably have had scout team reps which is better than nothing but that is me guessing here.

I saw a midget riding a motorcycle in Golden Gate Park yesterday. Madsen should be prepping for the game not doing tricks on a motorbike in a large urban park imo

And a phantom block in the back call.  I hate the Fighting Irish but they won that game.

CU still deserved it after beating the Pac-10 & SWC championship teams, tying the SEC championship team, and losing to the Big Ten championship team by one point on the road.

Name me one other national championship team that played a schedule that hard.  Throw me that fifth down game at Missouri and it doesn't matter because of how well CU played top competition that year.  CU won at Nebraska despite being down by 13 entering the 4th quarter in pouring & freezing cold rain in Lincoln.  Oklahoma was on probation that year but they still had a ton of talent on that roster and CU had to fight to win that one too.  That is six power conference teams who either won their conference or were capable of doing so and also that schedule had zero G5 teams on it.

Penn State backup QB also in the portal.  I don’t understand why you wouldn’t wait until after spring ball. Plenty of schools still looking for starting QBs then.

They would have had 2 losses.  Notre Dame got robbed and Georgia Tech shouldn't have had to split the Title with CU.

Boise State supposedly has had 15,000 ticket requests and were allotted 12,500.

Likely to be a huge Boise presence considering 3rd party sales and next opponent being unknown still.

Why is the portal even open before the season ends?

Yeah they definitely need to do something about that. If after bowl season is too late for starting the new semester, they should only allow transfers at the end of the academic year.

What about Spring Ball and getting a kid into your strength and conditioning program?  It doesn't make sense to make a kid stay somewhere they don't want to be for a semester.

Would you place the same restrictions on coaches?

Anyone else bought tickets directly from the fiesta bowl yet.

You have any issues? Got my flight booked. Seatgeak placed a hold on my game ticket though…
