Not what I got from his post.  From what I understood, he is able to make better connections and relationships in NZ.  Could be wrong but who knows.  You are coming off as douchy.  Also, if AA is standing up for you it is confirmed because that guy is a huge douche.

@halfmanhalfbronco - Listen to @Cowboy Up, as he knows of what he speaks.

What’s your real issue w/@StealthLobo, or were you drunk yesterday?

To me what's douchey is talking about how "Americans are" when you have been an expat for all of 5 minutes and moved to a country that isn't in the same stratosphere of diversity as the US.

And stating the population inspires you to a higher standard of medical care than you were willing to provide to Americans.

Oh, and New Zealand is a racist, xenophobic, homophobic country FYI.  Especially as it pertains to medical outcomes.

Changing. As of this year 51% of Americans now have a passport.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2024/10/23/state-department-issues-record-us-passports/75794556007/

Some of the passport growth is probably due to large groups of Americans deciding they want to go on a booze/buffet cruise to Mexico or the Caribbean on one of the amusement park mega-ships.

Now post something that's actually relevant to the thread, i.e. the percentage of Americans who use a passport to travel to New Zealand.

It seems like the OP is in the honeymoon phase of a working vacation. That's totally cool.

It's less cool for a doctor in pharmacy to act like he couldn't have been of more help here. The term "tone deaf" comes to mind.

Dude said he was not providing the best care he could for patients because it turns out he doesn't like Americans.  He can get fucked.

Way to leave out valuable context.

You can get f’d.

As someone who has spent the majority of my life living overseas I endorse the OPs general sentiment.

^^Of course, montana maytard is a real jet setter. Just like he's a mega rich stonk bro.

Also maytard: mooches tickets to sjs games, b/c he can't afford the $2.

2/10. Feel like the humble brag could have been better if siting examples of current posters.  Gave an extra point for calling all Americans selfish and self righteous when he's a pretty self centered individual.

Maybe the mistake of the original poster is that he is still in the "honeymoon stage" with New Zealand, and hasn't yet experienced the country.

Bashing on Americans as a caricature, when he has barely lived in New Zealand.   Has he even experienced a full season of weather there?

I'm sure New Zealand is a great place, but like you said, it has its own challenges.
