The whole west is full of them. Mountain Pass in SoCal is a big reserve for them too. The chicoms have sabotaged a greater development of the reserves the last couple decades but hopefully that changes given this.

EPA and money has essentially prevented any mining of them though.  It's really effing dirty so it made more sense to let China screw up their environment for a cheaper rate than what it will cost for us to do it cleanly.  Going to take years before we would have any serious mine up and running.
