I'm 99% sure nothing is happening with Sawvel.  Maybe there will be some staff changes but we'll just hear some excuses on why they struggled and why this is the right staff.  

Sawvel blamed COVID for his roster depth issues for fucks sake.  

That should be another reason he is fired.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a lot of the seasoned coaches deciding to step away until NIL gets worked out.

I'm amazed that Mike Gundy hasn't been fired from Oklahoma State.  He had at least 20 returning starters only to go 3-9 this season including an 0-9 record in Big 12 play.  His players quit on him during their game at CU which CU won 52-0 but could have easily been 70-0.

Ryan Walters (former Buffs DB) has been let go as Purdue's head coach after going winless in conference play.

Agree and Walters has a defensive background as opposed to an offensive background.

Liberty Coach (also former Coastal Carolina coach) Jamey Chadwell could be headed to UCF.  If he could get his QB to come with him, that could be something.

One bad season after 18 straight winning seasons may get you on the hot seat, but it generally doesnt get you fired.  A 25 million dollar buyout helps, too.  A staff and roster overhaul, though, is a given.

I had to sit through 4 years of Ron Caragher. If Lewis underwhelms in year 2 suds will part ways with him. Besides, with the transfer portal things can change quickly.

Why would you go to SDSU ? You either start and get all the snaps, or ride pine. Even when you do get a shot because the starter has to come out, and do shine, the starter is right back in within two plays and you're riding pine for the rest of the game.

Playing time and exposure if you're an upper classman who hasn't gotten much of either. Better hope Lewis is a good salesman.

They just extended TC's contract by one year. Announced yesterday or earlier today.
