WSU and OSU will be just like any other MWC team now that their PAC subsidy that they’ve enjoyed all these years is gone.  Yet Boise found it worth it to shell out about $18 million and give up its earned extra money to join them in a league.  
 

Get ready for empty stadiums in Pullman and Corvallis in future years.

Reality will be setting in for the PAC-2 in the coming years - Revenue reductions, recruiting tougher & fan interest fading 

Least they each will take their yearly beating from Oregon & Washington as the separation get wider over the next few years ---- a once meaningful game reduced to a scrimmage

The worst part is they get the Pac-12 bowl tie ins for a couple more years, so most projections have them in the Holiday Bowl this year.

Part of that was that three former Pac-12 teams had disappointing seasons in the Big 12 and Big Ten.  If those four didn't have disappointing seasons, would there be room for WSU or OSU?
