That’s about where I expected it to open at. I know there’s a lot of pride on both sides among the fan base’s, but the 2 best teams in the MWC and the 2 best G5 teams in the country are going to play this Friday for a chance to play in the CFP’s. Here’s hoping for a great injury free game. 🍻

split feelings on this game.  Would like to see UNLV pull out the win because they deserve something good to go for their FB program and they decided to stay with the MWC.  Secondly a Boise win would mean more $$ for the MWC but I always root against the donkies.   Go UNLV

Might as well fire up the thread. Broncos open as -4.5 favorites.

What is the weather looking like for the game? What time does the sun set?

The weather will be moderate that day, kickoff should be upper 30s. Sunset around 5 pm. But more importantly, it will be a waxing crescent moon at 30%!!

Go Rebs!  Please beat those traitorous bastards!  If you can slow Jeanty down you can win this!  Easier said than done.

We did that last time and still lost. 😡

Would it have hurt less had the traitorous bastards made the decision to leave at an airport meeting?

Boise fans have been pretty hard on Mad Dog Madsen. I think he rushes for at least 50 yards and tosses for a couple of big first downs and a couple of touchdowns.

I think this a Mad Dog game. No way you let Jeanty beat you. You have to kill that guy early and often if you're the Rebels.

Boise defense better play like they aren't painting their nails. This is a big game. But, UNLV will screw it up somehow. It doesn't matter. They don't have a clue.

I'll take Boise minus 3.5 all day long.

I don’t let emotion cloud my decisions. I’m probably the only Bronco fan predicting a Rebel win based on how both teams have played the last half of the season. The big key will be UNLVs QB. I doubt we keep him and White under control like the last game. The last five teams have limited Jeanty and the Rebels have the LB to hold him down. The Rebels also have the secondary to limit Boise State’s mediocre passing offense.

Weather won’t be a factor, temps in the 30-40 degree range, clear skies and no wind.

UNLV 31 Boise State 27

The UNLV defense seems susceptible to a running quarterback. Lewis with Nevada had a good day.

Madsen during the last game against the Rebels had 3 rushes for 58 yards, including a 50 yard run. I expect Madsen will be active running the ball.

Boise also had a wildcat look that I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull out for this one. Jeanty and Dubar on the field together with Madsen could make for some interesting play designs.

Also, Boise better play disciplined and contain Williams. He made Nevada's defense look silly every time he took off. In the last match-up versus Boise, Williams had over 100 yards on 19 attempts, but most of those yards were on one 70 yard carry.

I hope so very much that Teubner is good to go. He was practicing two weeks ago with the scout team, so he's expected back sometime.

Teubner was integral in stopping UNLV with a sack and two tackles for a loss versus the Rebels.

It seems Boise St is already in. If UNLV wins, do they have a shot to get into the playoffs as well?

They'd be in, as far as I know.

Let's get two in.

Well, if UNLV wins, I think Boise is out. Clemson beating SMU, Tulane beating Army, and Iowa State beating Arizona State might help.
