That should be an absurd thing to say, upgrading after a coach moves up to P4, but I don't know what the fuck Arizona thought they were buying.

Dunno if I said it here or on the Spartan board, Zona had CKN ready to sign. Their QB at the time, however, tweeted that "he didn't go to zona to play triple option ball." And his mom was also vocal on social media about the verbal agreement with CKN. So, zona backed out and hired Fisch.

Fisch left and we know how the dominos fell. Zona fans are probably feeling stupid and regretful now. They almost had CKN.

May be an image of 1 person, playing football and text

Chandler Jones was a stud and that year he put up video game numbers.

Nash is the real.deal. also.opted to stay even after clappy left. Made the right call. I doubt theres a.lot of places where he was gonnaput up the kinds of numbers he has this year at sjsu. Hes.gonna get a chance at the next level.

Good job, guys! Particularly with getting Niumatalolo not use that gawd awful triple option.

I keep seeing this. He was never going to run the 3x-option. The service academies do that because it’s the only way they can compete. He was on chip kellys staff last year and hired stutzman - a former run n shoot receiver at Hawaii - to be his oc almost right away. He knows that to win at sjsu or basically anywhere that can recruit d1 talent you need to let it rip.

I’ve been most pleased with how the team looks prepared to play each week. That wasn’t always the case under Brennan. That we hung with Boise and unlv for as long as we did is a credit to this coaching staff. The same roster under Brennan would have gotten boat raced by halftime in both of those games.

For the first time in a long while the future looks bright in San Jose. I could be wrong but I don’t think Kenny is gunning for a p4 job. This is his last ride and it’s been a fun one so far. If he can maximize his resources we should be competitive in the years to come especially post-p12-split.

Congrats to you SJSU alums who stayed true to your team.  Hope you rubbed it in to all the SJSU alums who call themselves Stanford fans.

Great win in all honesty. SJSU/Stanford/Kal should play a round robin each year for some kind of trophy. Maybe a tent on a pedestal.

Would be a great way to inject some interest in the "Pro Sports" Bay Area!

💯. They’re regretting it, I’m sure. I Don’t see Coach N jumping ship the first chance he gets either. He seems pretty comfortable in his own skin.

Look at the AZ Athletic Director.

She almost killed off UNLV football.

Just thinking that with all the travel in the ACC they might be more amenable to scheduling bus trip road games....
