No unless he makes the tournament. Has a 5 year contract and on year 4. It's either fire him or extend him and he won't get an extension and they won't let him play out his contract. This isn't Fresno.

Numbers won't work unless we win some of these non conference games. Outside looking in again. They look worse than last year. The injuries continue to hurt the Rebels, but it's not being unlucky. Team isn't well conditioned.

If they get rid of Kruger they MUST pony up for a real coach. After Lon had elevated the program to consistent NCAA appearances and solid 13k plus attendance for years, the program was making money and set up to succeed.

But the lazy, incompetent ADs and short sighted administration's went cheap with Rice, Marv, and Kevin. You get what you pay for.

The only coach they didn't go cheap for was TJ, who was a disaster here but he's the only one I don't blame ADs/ admin for. They actually paid him and he did have potential, he just mailed it in here.  That's on him.

If they can KK and hire another cheap coach, it won't really matter they will continue to get what they pay for.

After six games it's obvious that UNLV's roster took a step back 

There's not a single "GO TO" guy who can attack & create a scoring situation

As of this game I see UNLV being a .500 team at best & probably a 6th to 8th place MWC team with no post season 

Unless this group can mesh & clean up the glaring issues - Kruger will be under pressure if he comes back next season 

Plus the 4,000 attendance will not help 

Going to be a long season - Rebels might put one together here & there and surprise a middling MWC team, but realistically this is a bottom half MWC team
