My parents are down there in the Bahamas and somehow got 2nd row seats for the game. Meanwhile I'm about to board a flight and head to the in-laws in Wyoming 2 1

None of our teams have any idea how we will fare against each other, nor how all of the individual player matchups will pan out. Teams change a lot year to year, especially now, and don't forget we now have a 20 game schedule which means it's going to be a long, grind it out process to see who rises to the top. Nowhere in hell did I have Utah State going 14-4 (soft MWC schedule to be fair) and winning the league last year, so I am not even close to guessing what's going to happen this year. I think Wyoming is going to surprise people and take down some of the upper teams, which will really make things interesting and unpredictable. 1

I don’t care what @thelawlorfaithful says, he’s a whole hell of a lot better at basketball than he was as president! IDK. Stanley going 0-fer with 6 turnovers is like his secretary of war shipping millions in arms and lightly defending the military instillations right before secession. He needs to get his cabinet in order. 1

SWspartan Posted November 28 Posted November 28 The Spartans next game is 12/04 @ New Mexico, the Mountain West opener for both teams. Congrats to SJSU on their three game winning streak bringing them to 4-5. 👊 Go Spartans! 1 1
Spartan Dude Posted November 28 Posted November 28 I’m very surprised. After losing to UOP by double digits I wouldn’t have been surprised if they lost the rest of their games. Coach Miles must have found some offense somewhere. 1
thelawlorfaithful Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Baggies down the Bonnie’s. CSU is a dogfight with Washington. New Mexico and UNLV with big games tonight. Could be a big day for the conference.

I've seen some good basketball between the Aggies and Tecs
Spaztecs Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I watched 3/4 of the UNM-ASU game. I thought the Lobos played well at times and had a shot to win. They couldn't find the basket at the end. Is it me ? Or, are the Lobos three stars and a bunch of guys off the street ?
TopLobo Posted November 29 Posted November 29 RP modeled his rebuild after SUDS so yes we have some street ball in us.

Then they play either #16 Purdue or #55 NC State on Friday. BYU has only played cupcakes so far, so it will be the first look against good competition. BYU lost in overtime to Ole Miss. They miss out on playing Purdue and instead get NC State in the consolation game on Fox.
