The doctors probably knew Neveah Crain and her family were pro-life and decided to make her a martyr for the cause. The fact that you are lifting her up is a sacrilege.

Doctor's destroying their livelihood for a political statement is a strange spin.

I have a feeling, sadly, we will see more doctors killing women for their political views which will have nothing to do with medical hesitancy.

Sounds like a recipe for OBGYNs to flock to Texas. Or maybe it will just be the politically active ones so they can kill women.

In the meantime, I will revel in my sacrilege if the alternative is to turn a blind eye to pregnant women dying.

Fucking bullshit. They had a duty to provide care and didn't based on a politically guided fake fear over abortion.

The Hippocratic oath is "I shall do by my patients as I would be done by; shall obtain consultation whenever I or they desire; shall include them to the extent they wish in all important decisions; and shall minimize suffering whenever a cure cannot be obtained, understanding that a dignified death is an important goal in everyone's life."

The doctor failed his Oath based on his political beliefs.

If you don't think doctors can't do terrible things for politics, let me introduce you to Japan's Unit 731.

Then as I said before, an investigation by the great unbiased state of Texas or a wrongful death lawsuit should expose the truth.

Otherwise we are just skyscreaming here.

You are going to believe what you believe and I will believe what I believe.

In the meantime pregnant women will continue to die unnecessarily.

That's debatable. Maybe the pro-choice side thinks it's necessary.

It’s tough getting any kind of prompt medical care in Idaho. The latest large population influx hasn’t included a corresponding doctor influx. Talking to most of my doctors they’re all seeing a caseload increase and working longer hours. We need a medical school, but doubt the legislature wants to fund the sizable investment.

Yes because here in Texas everybody’s position on the subject is on our drivers license.

It's more than just abortion. It's an environment which tends to criminalize and seek punitive measures in order to control behavior. This puts medical intervention at risk and many providers are leaving rather than dealing with it. OBGYNs are the most prominent but not the only ones heading for the exits in Idaho.

Yes. I predicted this many years ago. As did the entire OB community.

Again, it's only a problem if you are seeking an abortion. Don't seek an abortion and the lack of OBgyn care won't be an issue.

Am I doing this correctly ?

Being retarded?

Ironically, though... that's the argument as absurd is it seems.

Let's politicize every pregnant woman's death to score points.

Right. Passing laws that prevent women from receiving life saving care is definitely not politicizing pregnant women. Pointing out the consequences of those laws is definitely politicizing pregnant women.

It was negligence not based on anti-abortion laws. This is fearmongering at its worst.

If the government passed a law that stated it is essentially a coin flip for you to go to prison if and when you do your job correctly in an emergency situation, let's see what happens to your profession.

You're so brainwashed by anti-abortion nonsense though, it doesn't even matter. I mean it won't until a woman you love dies or almost dies because of these laws.

Sure. But just because a doctor wants to make a political statement and not treat a woman at risk of dying because he's "scared" doesn't mean the law is at fault.

It's demonic.

Have you ever watched a woman go into septic shock? It happens very, very fast. By the time the doctors are allowed to proceed thanks to these wonderful laws, it's often too late.

But yea, the doctor is the demonic one. Not the people like you who think these laws have no impact on women's bodies.

This is a "politically guided fake fear."

Is that a real term?

The funny thing is, this is why the same people who are trying to honestly blame the maternal specialists here instead of the laws are the ones who say that any effort that attempts to prevent cops from needlessly killing unarmed people makes it impossible for police to do their jobs.

Well, not funny. It's not a funny thing at all.
