No, I've been informed on here that abortion bans don't negatively impact women's health. This must not be true.

Link?

I know there has been an exodus and not just this specialty. Others have a 3 to 6 month wait for initial consults due to a lack of physicians. ENT for example is a 2-3 month wait.

It's more than just abortion. It's an environment which tends to criminalize and seek punitive measures in order to control behavior. This puts medical intervention at risk and many providers are leaving rather than dealing with it. OBGYNs are the most prominent but not the only ones heading for the exits in Idaho.

Again, it's only a problem if you are seeking an abortion. Don't seek an abortion and the lack of OBgyn care won't be an issue.

Am I doing this correctly ?

Why do women need care? They pump out babies and make sandwiches. Eventually they aren't even capable of doing half of those things and should be traded in on a younger model anyway.

They've only got like a breeding shelf life of 30 yrs or so. Probably aught to start looking at that minimum marriage age to maximize their useful time. I mean medieval times got a lot of things right after all.

No link.  It was an email sent to all employees with the statement that any employee who shared would be terminated.

I know several employees and they were all talking about it

At what point to major companies start to care and look to leave the state.  Maybe if they had female CEO’s

Not correct

As I stated, it's impacting other disciplines

I'm not sure what ENT has to do with abortion but it's having issues with retention. Can you explain the link between abortion and ENT?

Yeah, I didn't think so. Maybe you could shut up and listen for a change.

Let's politicize every pregnant woman's death to score points.

Pointing out laws that cause medical hesitancy resulting in death is scoring points?

Hopefully the woman's family sues the hospital for wrongful death so the truth about why they made those decisions comes out.

It was negligence not based on anti-abortion laws. This is fearmongering at its worst.

Then they should sue. They should win a nice settlement if that is what really happened.

Sure. But just because a doctor wants to make a political statement and not treat a woman at risk of dying because he's "scared" doesn't mean the law is at fault.

It's demonic.

Should be a costly political statement then. Have yet to meet a doctor who will burn their medical license to make a political statement. I guess they could be out there though.

Will be interesting to see what comes out of an investigation on it.
