Despite what people might believe, the Tariffs are going to cause price increases simply because of supply and demand.  And even if supply doesn’t increase those costs are going to be passed on to the consumer.

25% tariffs on all goods from Canada and Mexico and 10% on China.   Lolololololol.

The China tariff, maybe I can get behind but the one from Canada and Mexico is beyond stupid.  Congrats to the people that voted for this. You just increased the prices on a lot of things by 25% (or more)!  This won’t help bring jobs back to the US either.

I have a sort of friend who is a huge Trumper.  The rely on social security and his wife’s pension.    She retired when rates were low and chose to lock in a fixed payment with a 2% cost of living adjustment.   He is beyond fucked.

I said prices falling and yields rising were in response to anticipated inflation which it is.
