So we are going to solve it by nominating a literal white nationalist and support it across the MAGA party?

Jesus guys.  You complain about people thinking you tolerate racism and then you follow it up with naming a purported white nationalist as SECDEF.  Who is next.  You going to bring back Jefferson Davis?

@CoachKenFTW here is your key…

So, tell me?  What horrible things are you going to say about the people below who, like Kelly, were picked directly by Trump, once they fall out of favor?  We told you people like Kelly should not be serving in those positions but YOUR GUY chose them.  And now you have the audacity to tell us how unqualified and conflicted he was and that he cannot be trusted???  Your guys is the one who wants to skip senate confirmations and background checks, right?

Are you proud of the incompetent and unserious people Trump is nominating to lead the country?  It looks like the only thing Trump will accomplish is to give a tax cut to billionaires and make the country a laughingstock.  Look at this editorial about their great qualifications:

Opinion | Trump’s Reckless Choices for National Leadership - The New York Times

..."For three of the nation’s highest-ranking and most vital positions, Mr. Trump said he would appoint loyalists with no discernible qualifications for their jobs, people manifestly inappropriate for crucial positions of leadership in law enforcement and national security."

They talk plenty about how unqualified and dangerous Gaetz is but look at the others:

...“He’s (Hegseth) never run a big institution, much less one of the largest and most hidebound on the planet,” the editorial board of The Wall Street Journal wrote Wednesday. “He has no experience in government outside the military, and no small risk is that the bureaucracy will eat him alive.” The board went on to call Mr. Hegseth a ”culture warrior” at a time when there are much bigger security issues for the Pentagon to be focused on.

It’s far from certain Mr. Hegseth could even obtain the security clearances required for the job. He has said he was one of a dozen National Guard members removed from service at President Biden’s inauguration in 2021 because of concerns that he was an extremist — possibly because of a tattoo he wears that is popular among white supremacists."

...Ms. Gabbard, who previously represented Hawaii in the House and regularly appears on Fox News, is not only devoid of intelligence experience but has repeatedly taken positions in direct opposition to American foreign policy and national security interests. She has appeared on several occasions to side with strongmen like President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

@mugtang going back to the discussion about why we want a protected civil service.  Can you imagin a "spoils system" where Trump was naming "loyalists with no discernible qualifications" in all levels of government to manage nuclear waste and do air traffic controlling?  I mean the person he wants the person in charge of the DOJ has barely practices law, has never been a judge, or district/US attorney.  I mean his biggest qualification is "lib owning" and being a Trump lickspittle.

I've never voted for Trump.

The fact he spends time researching people's posting history speaks volumes.

What kind of loser in life cares or keeps track of post counts and monitors the 'who is online' thing to stalk those who he thinks are the ones stalking him?  The poor guy lives on this forum.  Sad.

FFS.

The only time I check someones profile is to see who their Team is.

He is obsessed with us never Trumpers and with being the dodo bird whacked out on Adderall.

Bro literally did some internet sleuthin' to come to a determination that "I moved back in with my parents".  (lol)

Meanwhile I am splitting time between my dad's house in LA taking care of that old fart and my property in LV doing business.  LMFAO.

Future mass shooter vibes for sure.

Doge

My gawd they are going to turn things back 150 years at least. The whole point is they want ZERO oversight of businesses. Zero zilch nada. No environmental regs no regs protecting workers, rights or health.  How do you get that? By eliminating the ability of the various departments to actually monitor the laws and rules. Reduce head count to the point they can't get the job done.

That's what these two clowns are aiming for

Are you ignorant enough to believe that “the job is getting done now”? That’s an incredible statement in so many ways with none of them being good. What a maroon…

Not really. A good Integrated Air Defense System(IADS) is completely air gapped to prevent that from happening. Modern jamming techniques can destroy computer and communication networks with brute force or subtle finesse. EW is just as much a cat and mouse game as Cyber. That being said, my bias is probably getting the best of me. EW is my wheelhouse, Cyber not so much. Either way, I'm enjoying the hell out of this discussion. Others might not be too thrilled that we hijacked the thread though🤣🤣😎

Hey @sean327 read this article on Ukraine using AI to defeat jamming in theater.   Thought you would find it interesting.   It also further reinforces my belief that the army that wins in the future is the one with the best brains.   We need those females and trans kids as much as the guy who can ace the physical test.

I just read your article by first rate news sources Times of Israel.  (an opinion periodical funded by a Trump hating hedge fund billionaire from Boston btw).

I find the article long on accusations and short on evidence, the tattoo thing is obviously designed to inflame the reader and the link between the Crusader Cross and his  membership in a radical sect is completely unproven, but the author uses an academics quote as an appeal to authority fallacy  to give credence to his unsubstantiated allegations.  Which you are taking as a smoking gun as is your wont.

Regardless, Hegsdeth s unqualified to be SecDef, I think you would be better off making that argument than the completely uncorroborated white supremacy accusations you are making

They use vector databases, and the drones are programmed to go after things that match specific shape vectors before being sent up. It's pretty interesting stuff. A member of my company's leadership has been to Ukraine three times since the war started to assist with some on-the-ground electronics setups.

I'm using some similar concepts in designing an in-house cyber threat-hunting tool. If all goes well, I/we will likely file a patent on the tech early next year.

It’s one factor.  Certainly not the only one.  Hegseth is unqualified for a number of reasons.  And yes the press is from a hostile source but it is pretty easily verified or not.  Given he was pulled from the Biden security detail I am guessing it is true.

The latest data on him is no less unflattering.  We don’t have to agree on why we are opposed to the man.
