I suppose I could have been more concise with my language there, but I think you’re smart enough to understand the intent behind my statement, right?

Was your intent to be wrong?

I’m sorry…

…for wasting my time.

Okay, then what would be pardoned?

it’s sort of like what my ex-father in law used to always say when he got caught up in his schemey bullshit…”im sorry for whatever it is you think I did - I sincerely apologize”

Yes and no. My assertion was and remains that before one can be pardoned there has to be something that would create an opportunity to pardon.

My question remains, you believe that Nixon pardoned himself? That’s the basis for this discussion and you chimed in with Nixon. Care to clear that up?

Sure. I wasn’t as concise as I could’ve been on the first point; however, you’re still not answering the question either.

What exactly would be pardoned in Biden’s case?

WTF does " there has to be something that would create an opportunity to pardon" even mean? Holy word salad!!  Or maybe these are some type of sovereign citizen code words that they throw up in front of a judge that never work?  Weird.

He created the "opportunity to pardon" himself by clearly and legitimately winning the 2020 presidential election and being the POTUS, no!?!?

Got some MAGA on pretend not MAGA violence going on in here.

MAGA wants to spend the next 2 years running "Biden Crime Family" investigations because they are terrified to pass a border bill or other legislation as they have no ideas.  If Biden pardons everyone that will throw a serious monkey wrench in everything they had planned.   Biden could also force the supreme court to decide if self-pardons were allowed and he would get the full benefit of it!  "Donald Trump said he was going to go after political enemies so I am going to pardon all of them.  This will allow Donald to focus on running the country instead of pursuing political prosecutions."  Plus do you know it would be fun to see them get

Why is this hard for you to understand?

You're the one that asserted one has to be charged and convicted, Einstein.  Nixon was neither.

I did not state that a conviction was necessary; it was obviously not concise, but that was for the purpose of providing a broader range of responses. You missed the point, which isn’t a surprise.
