Sadly it comes down to what SCOTUS says cuts it and I would have bet my house they would not have said POTUS is above the law. They can also do what they want at the end of a gun. watch whom the Senate chooses as majority leader. If it’s Scott we are much closer to either option.

What are other first world countries doing for this sort of situation? Specifically, our European friends…

My point was just that any part of the Constitution can be amended or “dropped”, it’s not like Amendments are any “easier” to get rid of.

Specifically, our European friends… It seems to have been a direct response to the abolishing of race based chattel slavery as a way to incorporate the former enslaved people and their kids into the U.S. as citizens. If slavery had never existed, it’s possible birthright citizenship would have never been a thing. But slavery did exist, so birthright citizenship does exist.

They're a dumpster fire. they can't even assimilate neighboring Europeans. If Europeans aren't doing jus solis, then that's a pretty great argument for it lol 2

Do you believe their "citizenship" laws are "liberal"? if they're having bigger problems than us, why would you want to emulate them?

I believe when they’re being overrun in their own countries by the allah snackbars of the world because they’re soft, caring example for the world goes wrong, they’d probably like a do over. I think the the American liberal has a tendency to hold the eurotrash ideas above American ideals…immigration is one of those key examples.

I mean. they're not overrun. people who hate any immigration like to claim they're overrun. and they're anything but "soft and caring" lmao. our "idk man you came over here illegally and had kids and you're just in this gray legal area" is somehow more caring and softer than their "YOU WILL NEVER BE SWISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE ALWAYS TURKISH EVEN IF YOUR PARENTS HAVE NEVER SEEN TURKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" policies dogs you really need to educate yourself on this. because in this case, being hardline on immigration IS holding 'eurotrash ideas above american ideas'. being soft and pro-immigration IS american ideals lol 2

Then again, look at the source. Evidently I didn't reiterate what I was getting at. See my other post.
