I sincerely hope I’m wrong about him. I don’t know Donald Trump, I’ve never been in the same room with him, i’ve never worked alongside him for extended period of time. 

I’m alarmed by the things he says, and they seemed to get worse this election cycle than in 2020 and even 2016. To the people who say “don’t listen to what he says, watch what he does“ I say, someone who does things differently from what they say just lacks integrity.

I hope the men and women who worked alongside him in the White House are completely wrong about him being “unfit and a danger to the Republic.” I hope they they are “swamp creatures who couldn’t control Trump, and therefore hated him.” That narrative doesn’t ring true for me right now, but I prefer that to the alternative.

For now, I will continue to do my small part to uphold the rule law and the constitution and that starts with accepting the results of a free and fair election.

Congratulations President Elect Trump.

Dems, Trump will suck. He will be chaotic, ineffective, and you'll feel like you live in some crazy alternate universe for much of the next four years. But I believe you'll be fine in the long term. We still have a good, if imperfect, system. Believe in this country. It wins in the end.

To the GOP, I hope you're right. Taking the risk of another Trump term might seem inconceivable to me. But I get the Dems haven't made a particularly compelling case for many of you. So, here's hoping I'm wrong.

Let me know when you come down from whatever you're on. Trump learned from round 1 and will be effective in round 2 especially with the people around him. He also has Congress and the SC locked up. Consider the freedom caucus getting everything on their wishlist.

The common worker is beneath the Democrat party. Some on this board went so far as to call them trash. They have become the elitists looking down their nose at them. The result being they paid the price yesterday. Until they start embracing the common folk they’ll continue to lose.
