In a dark way, this may be the ultimate answer. Fight is listed first. But flight is almost universally the better response for self preservation.

Yes, yes. "Liberal tears" and all that nonsense. Its been nearly 4 years, has Trump conceded the 2020 election yet? It's been nearly 8 years, has Trump brought forward a plan to replace Obama Care yet? It's been nearly a decade, has Trump brought forward how he'll solve the war in Ukraine? It's been nearly 50 years, has Trump figured out how to stop the violence in the Middle East?

I can keep going, if you want. But so far, the only "plans" he has brought forward include slashing Medicare and Social Security so that Elon and other rich bastards get a bigger tax cut for some reason. And the last time he cut taxes like this, it doubled the national debt in the first year, well before Covid began.

I believe the tax cuts he's working on are making the 2017 cuts permanent. They were set to expire. But nooooo can't let the top 1% lose out. Gotta cut Medicaid, SNAP and other social safety nets instead.  And balloon the debt. 

That's what happens when people got for bright shiny objects without realizing they are actually voting against their own self interest. Help the ultra rich get richer and everyone else gets poorer.

The rich will always get richer and everyone else get poorer comparatively. You don’t seem to understand the nature of the human condition.  I’ll add it’s the rich that fund half our federal government and its mostly the poor that get the largest benefit from those funds. 

What you seem to be arguing is the rich should be paying more so the poor will benefit more.

Yes

The current economic disparity has grown too large. It's disproportionate. Wages have been stagnant for 50 years. It's obscene the level of profit the top 1% have siphoned off the backs of the 99% and yes, there needs to be a recalibration.
