And it looks like they were all aware of it too-wouldn’t this be considered theft? I wonder how this is going to impact the PAC 12, specifically Washington State and Oregon State . That's not news tho, they've known about that for over a year and already set money aside for it. 1 Quote

KingSpartan Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Maybe the PAC could throw a sales pitch to the NFL Network. Quote
Chalsean Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Maybe we could all wait for the official announcement instead of only believing tweets that align with our narrative Quote

415hawaiiboy 2.0 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Like the major networks don’t want to legitimize The CW and play second fiddle in media rights. ESPN says you’re going straight to Plus! Could be why “they” killed the old PAC-12. You didn’t hear about secondary partnerships with the traditional guys after ESPN took their business to the B12, and all you heard was CW and the streamers or exotic media potential targets. I don’t think they had anything against the PAC other than their ego (which is common in elite collegiate athletics), but I do think they hate The CW and what they represent. Value destruction. Quote

It's unclear what each network's level of interest is. It’s an article that is based on another person’s article. There is nothing of substance to it. The networks’ varying interest levels are still unclear, though another source told FOS that conversations were “productive.” I saw the original article in my news feed and it didn’t have anything of substance either. I’d love to see a huge TV contract, but 90% of the stuff being reported is completely made up. 1 1 Quote
Beaver-Poke Posted February 5 Posted February 5 But the Pac-12 haters said Fox and ESPN wanted nothing to do with it and weren't even talking, while numerous sources are reporting otherwise. 2 Quote
