Great finish by the Tigers against the best closer in baseball. That might be their only win this series though.

I'll be at Petco Park on Wednesday, up high in the nosebleed next to the Western Metal Supply building. Hoping that'll be a clincher game for the good guys.

Love the Padres. Love Petco Park. Hate the Dodgers with a passion. blink182? Meh, never been a fan. But I'd still let 'The San Diegan' find me and buy me a beer, or hand me a foul ball in exchange for a beer. 😋

Idk if I'll be there on Wednesday (I'll be there tonight tho)... availability is an issue and the cost of this postseason is adding up.

However, in the event you were there tonight, I'll be sitting within line-of-sight of your seats, in Section 128. And in the event I am able to go tomorrow night, it will most likely be in the same section (and will def post here), so look for my unique jersey. Either way, if their opportunity allows, I'd be happy to buy you a beer and toast to both Padres and Aztecs.

Here's video that shows the initial interaction between Profar and the fans that resulted in Dodger trash chucking balls towards him.

I mean, he literally handed a Dodger fan a ball with a smile on his face, presumably to make up for robbing them of a souvenir in the bottom of the 1st.

This is when Dave Roberts claims that Manny threw a ball at him. Good thing there was a net, right Dave?

https://fansided.com/dave-roberts-comment-pours-even-more-fuel-on-the-fire-of-dodgers-padres-rivalry

"It was unsettling," Roberts said. "Obviously I have a relationship with Manny from years past. There was intent behind it. It didn't almost hit me because there was a net. And that was very bothersome. If it was intended at me, I would be very -- it's pretty disrespectful. So, I don't know his intent. I don't want to speak for him. But I did see the video. And the ball was directed at me with something behind it. But I don't know what led to that."

Dave Roberts

What a Joke!!

Go Padres!!

Probably nothing, Roberts is always clueless when October hits. I've never seen a team be so dominate like the Dodgers in the regular season just to go completely ice cold when October hits.

Too young for the 90's Braves? 8 straight NLCS appearances, lost 4 World Series, only ship in 1995.

Padres fans absolutely crack me up.  I guess I could start posting memes and videos of why all this is taking place now showing the Padres players and fans being complete jackasses.  Profar crying last year about being intentionally hit, when he wasn't.  Tatis and Machado being complete jackasses on the field and intentionally riling everyone up.  But it's a waste of time with them.

Sure hope you can get past a Dodger pitching staff that is bombed out and depleted and down to basically bullpen games.

Machado was an asshole when he was with the Dodgers. The guy has no class. He fits right in with the Padres.

Making excuses already I see. 😂 It's easy to "rile up" a fanbase that's so easily offended. Every team has players that do a little poking and prodding to amuse themselves. Some fanbases handle it better than others, obviously.

Won't be there tonight, but hoping we get a chance to clinch tomorrow. If it goes back to LA, will the Dodgers have built a fortress and moat around their dugout to protect their fragile manager from ground balls tossed to the batboy?

Alright MT - in a quest to treat money like the ephemeral batch of 1's and 0's it has become, my nephew and I will be back at the game tonight as well, as Dodger tears taste best when they're freshly collected.

We'll be in the 5th row behind the wall in Sec 128 - I'll be in my new threads I wore last night (the only #69 jersey in the stad 😀). How early do you plan on arriving? We try to get here (at least) an hour before first pitch to avoid zoo'd out lines at the concession stands.
