Edit- Bogaerts goes deep to left. 7-1 Padres.
AztecAlien Posted October 7 Posted October 7 The Padres blow out the Dodgers 10-2 in game 2. Hopefully, Padres fans stay safe trying to get out of the parking lot.
retrofade Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Gotta love how trashy Dodgers fans are. It was actually kinda surprising to see so many of them still at the game at that point.

I've been to Petco Park to see the Dodgers play the Padres in regular season games at least a dozen times over the years and there's always been more LA fans than SD fans there. But it may not be that way with the high playoff ticket prices? ⚾ Go Blue!

Which made Profar trolling the entire ballpark on Mookie's would-be HR a thing of eternal beauty. That was one of the most memorable plays I've ever witnessed in the postseason. 1

Real nice. I thought it was nice how after those trash fans threw two baseballs out onto the field, the Padres sent four balls back into the stands just in case those fucktards lost another one. 1 1
The San Diegan Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 I'll be back at Petco on Tuesday in my brand new jersey. Speaking of which... Hey Dodger fans - 1 4

Admittedly there are a lot of Dodger fans in SD but between the season ticket holders and the high resale coast it will be less blue than usual. I looked on Ticketmaster and the cheapest tix were $390. With fees that’s probably $450 for way upper deck. It does my heart good to know that the Pads punked the Dodgers like that in front of their biggest crowd of the season. 1
Smithy Posted October 7 Posted October 7 After the ruckus...all the momentum swung to SD and I think they know how to pitch high to Shohei to keep him in check. Will see what Roberts has up his sleave in the next game.
The San Diegan Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 Before getting beaned by Flaherty, Nando was 7 for 10 with an OBP of .750. Flaherty owned up to trying to brush him back, but given Tati's success against him, it makes one wonder if after his first two at bats it was intentional. 🤔 1

I've never seen a team be so dominate like the Dodgers in the regular season just to go completely ice cold when October hits.

SWspartan Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Detroit Tigers hit a three run homer in the top of the ninth and held on to beat the Cleveland Guardians 3-0 in game two of the ALDS. 👏 Series is tied 1-1.
MissionTrails Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Great finish by the Tigers against the best closer in baseball. That might be their only win this series though. I'll be at Petco Park on Wednesday, up high in the nosebleed next to the Western Metal Supply building. Hoping that'll be a clincher game for the good guys. Love the Padres. Love Petco Park. Hate the Dodgers with a passion. blink182? Meh, never been a fan. But I'd still let 'The San Diegan' find me and buy me a beer, or hand me a foul ball in exchange for a beer. 😋 1

Makes no sense.
