Man I'm stoked. Was at both games this week against the Braves - going back to '98, we're now 4-0 in the postseason vs. ATL when I'm in attendance. 😎

Also, for those who haven't been to Petco for a while, we do a thing now. It's like our Temu Sweet Caroline, sung in the middle of the 8th. This was from Tuesday:

Me too! A close friend of mine is a lifelong Mets fan from New Jersey and I would be stoked if we can hit up NLCS games here together.

Meet Adeline. On Wed night, I finally - in my 50's - caught my first-ever ball. And proceeded to directly give it to this little girl seated in front of me, who had brought a tiny little glove for her tiny little hands, but couldn't see over the two rows in front of her. Any stoke I would have felt from keeping it was absolutely crushed by how happy her joy made me. ☺️

Dodgers beat the Padres 7-5 in game one of the NLDS.

Ohtani had a 3 run homer in his first MLB playoff game.

 Go Blue!

They should just make it official and change their name to the LA Ohtanis. Doubt you guys even sniff the postseason this year w/o him on the roster.

No one other than Doyjer fans like the Doyjers. Or LA. Oh, and I take shits larger than Mookie Betts.

now that the A's are dead I've considered adopting the Friars as my new team. Hoping they pull out this series. I think they can b/c there's a lot of offensive firepower but the loss of Musgrove is going to hurt.

As sad as the news of his loss is for us fans, I think he's probably more heartbroken than anybody - he's from East County (I'm East County product myself 🙂) and grew up a Padres fan.

BTW, as a former Chargers fan, I wholly understand the sentiment. If you're down in SD during next season, let me know in advance and we'll hit up Petco for a game.

Just don't pitch to Ohtani.

That is all.

Go Padres!!

Dude is the GOAT, no doubt about it... first player to lead the league in HRs and SBs since Ty Cobb in 1909? First 50/50 player in the 150-year history of the league? He's what would happen if you made an anime mashup of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb, and Jackie Robinson and buffed them for "athletic inflation."
