During the democracy topic, Vance would not say whether Trump lost the 2020 election when asked by Walz.  
 

Walz goes on to say that Vance would not stand up to Trump like Pence did to uphold the Constitution.

Walz wasn’t aggressive enough, but this debate will be forgotten quickly like every prior VP debate.

Meh.  Watched a little.  Saw some clips I missed. Really don't see this mattering much to the election.  Walz let Vance get away with a lot of the false reactionary Trump narrative although he was strong on the '20 election.  JD looked far better than the weasel he really is.  Again, doubt any of it matters.  We'll see the reactions over the next few days, but I doubt it moves the needle either way.

It was fucking weird if you ask me.  I was expecting Vance to be himself.  He was decent to listen too but…. He’s slimy and I’m hoping undecided voters see through the smoke and mirrors

I don’t think it matters, but Vance was the clear winner of this debate. Walz didn’t seem like he could step in and be President (not unusual) and he mixed up Israel and Iran a couple of times. Vance also had the strongest closing statement by a mile.
