10.3 ypc…

Yeah, it isn’t complicated. Just give him the damn ball and let him do his magic. You could say his stats are inflated because of the competition but he averaged almost 8 ypc against a top 10 team in Oregon. It’s also ‘how’ he does it that is so captivating. So many broken tackles just like the other night.

This is akin to the SC teams with OJ or Marcus Allen, Pitt with Tony Dorsett, or Georgia with Herschel Walker. The most recent I can think of is Adrian Peterson at OU. These guys don’t come around often.

He won't win the Heisman.  They will do to him what they did to Marshall Faulk and give it to some schlub QB from a top ranked team.  Bank on it.

100%.

His only chance is if he catches Sanders.  If he breaks his TD or yardage records, records long that untouchable, especially the TD record, he should win it. Which he is on pace to do, and would do if given carries into the 4th quarter.  But we will have a lot of games where he mostly sits the second the half.  He is putting up these stats in less than 3 and half a games.  If they actually ran him against Portal State he could have another 4 TD's and already be over 1000 yards. If he does break Sanders records and they give to a QB with a run of the mill season we see 2-3 times a year, every year, they should just stop the award.  It is simply no longer about rewarding the best player in football for their achievements, but about giving some average SEC QB a participation trophy.

Jeanty and Hunter should 1 and 2, in that order, right now. With Jeanty significantly ahead.

These QBs are just doing what we see top QBs from the best conferences do every single year.  Great performance.  But these two are doing things we never see.  Things we see once in a generation.

He’s definitely putting up really good stats, with that kind of usage he should be though.  Reminds me a lot of Kevin Smith..

He's averaging 20 carries a game. Is that really that much?

And who the fuck is Kevin Smith?

Jeanty was far and away the most talented RB in college football last year to anybody with eyes @RSF not blinded by bias. Faster, stronger, more agile, better in pass protection, better receiving, better vision, better in every conceivable way than Ollie.

This year he has just improved on all that.

He is looking at a top 10 draft pick
